If Easter is officially over, does that mean the Christmas trimmings will be in the supermarkets by the end of next week?

If the person could not look after their property and could waste £15 on such a product, they can afford to waste more money. If it was a gift for a child, I consider it to be a complete waste of money.
Glad you like the avatar!
If it was a complete waste of money why did you or lady freda feel the need to take it ?
i only hope it wasnt some person who spend there last few pounds on an egg as a gift for someone , is horrible the feeling you get when you buy something and lose it and when you had very little money to start with it makes it worst:( sorry but i think you need to return the items if not because its right then to show other users on here you have some dencency~We are all going to hell and guess who Is driving the bus~*Norn Iron club Member 294* (Hi, we’ve had to remove part of your signature. Just got back from Tesco and had been hoping to pick up a couple of small easter things for niece and nephew- there is NOTHING left bar a few bags of smarties eggs.
Complained to customer service who said they were 'wiped out' yesterday. While I can understand stock control is important and I know they don't want loads left, I thought this was pretty sad and frankly we will now take our custom elsewhere. Is this happening near you?
Is your post for real? :rotfl:
I popped to Tesco before, in the Easter Egg aisle, there was ONE green and blacks organic egg left, along with individual creme eggs and that's it, nothing else.
I didn't care because I'd bought mine weeks ago and picked some more up for OH's family last week (in Tesco when they had hundreds of them).
I don't understand why people leave things till last minute anyway, surely if it's that important, they would plan ahead??
With regards to the 'found' Easter egg, if it were me, I would have handed it into Customer Services and left my details, so if the person who had 'lost' it hadn't gone back in to claim it, I could have had it myself and eaten it with a clear conscience
I've chased someone before with a can of soup because they had left it behind.
That's the decent thing to do.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -

Last year when i bought eggs weeks in advance they had all melted when the kids opened them. Then again it was a little bit warmer last year and there was a long car journey.
I know Asda have a book where they write stuff that has been left behind and gets handed in. I have a feeling they put it back on the shelves then. I once lost something whilst packing my bags (yes its easy to be a 'numpty' whilst watching your kids don't vanish whilst packing, paying etc.) I went to CS next time i was in but it hadn't been handed in so i didn't get anything but she had pages of stuff written down.[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica]

We bought our Easter eggs and cards weeks ago and have them safely stored until tomorrow, apart from ones we have already given out to friends children.
We popped into our local Tesco's last night for a last minute bit of shopping and there was only two eggs left and they were broken ones. There had been hundreds of them stacked all round the store and they had all been sold.
I would love to know how much profit they actually make on these eggs as they all seem to get sold.
I expect it will be all the cards and gifts for Fathers Day next {June15th}0 -
Back on topic, OP why leave it so late to get the eggs, what do you expect,No Links in Signature by site rules - MSE Forum Team 20

Trying to buy easter eggs now! lol, why didn't you try last week or the week before?!Freddie_Snowbits wrote: »The store were paid for the goods by some numptie, who left it behind. They have suffered no loss. So the numptie now has to decide, do they wish in hope that there is cctv coverage and the Gendarmeire appear before Freda has stuffed her face with chocolate, thus removing the evidence! The packaging could already be kindling the fire.
Well all I can say is, hopefully one day you will become a "numptie" who leaves something more valuable behind, like a wallet with all your bank cards and £50 in cash. With any luck someone will pick it up, take the £50 and throw the rest in the trash or use it for fraud.Real Mums don't have to go to Iceland, They can flippin well cook!!0 -
