The packaging could already be kindling the fire.
But the "numptie" might return for their shopping, it might be a little old lady or something, I'd have given it in at the store.0 -
So apparently stealing other people's property is ok so long as it isn't the shop's property? No wonder the country is in such a state with crime and disrespect with such twisted logic."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Now, when do the stuffing balls come out for Christmas, I can't wait
With an attitude like that, the avatar is very appropriate !!!0 -
Freddie_Snowbits wrote: »It could had been Santa! I doubt if a little old lady would had wasted her money on it. Why should I give it back to the store? They were paid for it, what woiuld they do, sell it again??
Why, is in case the person realises their mistake and returns to the store to see if any kind-hearted person has handed in a bag of shopping, then it could be given back to them. If you had found a purse, wallet or credit card, would you have taken that too??0 -
It was probably a gift for a child and the person buying it will have to buy another now and may not be able to get one it time.
What a horrible thing to do.0 -

In my opinion you/your wife deserve certain other things smashing in. Just because you probably won't get caught doesn't make it right - glad that we have decent honest caring members of society like yourself amongst us, this is what makes britain great and the reason why so many people want to stay here (not).Freddie_Snowbits wrote: »The store were paid for the goods by some numptie, who left it behind. It's not the fact that the store has been paid - you've taken property with the intent to permanantly deprive someone and by covering up the fact doesn't make you any less guilty nor likely to get convicted should the cops, however unlikely, deem to pay you and your lard a$$ wife a visit.
Personally I think you're scum
You've also admitted it on here and you can be traced by your ip address - I seriously hope that on of the admins/mods gets a copy of your posts and ip address and forwards them on.0 -
you condone the actions and would clearly do the same as your greedy other half, taking stuff that doesn't belong to you or covering up for/conding it makes you scum. Chocolate is hardly pershable - at least not in a couple of hours or so0

What gives me some hope is that there hasn't been a poster yet to actually support what they did."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

I think either some peeps on here are having a sugar rush or the super snow flurries are getting your knickers in a twist, quit it or the Easter Bunny won't be calling tomorrow

Freddie, you disappoint me. I had always read your posts and you came across as an honest, intelligent individual.
I cant believe you can attempt to condone theft like that. My respect for you is gone Im afraid.
Personally, I'd put them back into a bag, return them to the store and explain that you "accidentally" picked them up with your own shopping. At least I could sleep at night safe in the knowledge that I did the right thing and that Karma wasnt waiting to bite me on the !!!!.0
