Tesco- Easter is over

Options
Just got back from Tesco and had been hoping to pick up a couple of small easter things for niece and nephew- there is NOTHING left bar a few bags of smarties eggs.
Complained to customer service who said they were 'wiped out' yesterday. While I can understand stock control is important and I know they don't want loads left, I thought this was pretty sad and frankly we will now take our custom elsewhere. Is this happening near you?

In my Tesco's yesterday the Easter aisle was chockka block (;) ) with customers.

I'm sure they would've been bare shelves at the end of the day too!

Maybe you should plan in advance?

Theres left than 24 hours to Easter. You can't really blame them for running out when theres left than 24 hours left. I can't believe you actually complained in store as well, surely a much bigger fault is your lack of planning.

Personally I think its good stock control that they have sold everything and not having to reduce come Monday (when I like to buy!)

I've been caught out before now for Easter so I bought mine, from Tesco, weeks ago when they were BOGOF.

Easter eggs have been in stock since just after Christmas (well it seems like that anyway!) . The OP left it until the last minute and was disappointed. It is a shame but that's the risk you take. Buy early and put them somewhere safe.

We aren't having chocolate this year as we are all dieting! Don't even miss it to be fair.
Don't grow up. Its a trap!

    Peace, love and labradors!

With apologies to my last post, Good Old Lady Freda Snowbits has just come back from Waitrose, and some numptie left their muppet food behind! Happy Easter, Lindt Egg and bunny worth £15! Yum Yum, not cost her a penny and chocolate is a girls best friend!

    erm and isn't that theft?

Yes, I suppose they will have CCTV and I await with bated breathe for the Local Gendarmerie to smash in my front door.

So theft is ok so long as it's below the value threshold of making it worth the police's time? Interesting view of the law. Along the same lines of any crime is ok so long as you don't get caught.
