He's not old - younger than me and i still have 8 years to go before I can retire.
Don't know about the rest though.0 -
Anyone can retire early if the win the lottery you know.:D0

Retired IFA, this is unacceptable. Whether you were a member of the Freemasons or not is none of my concern, but I do object to your racist reference.
I reported your personal attack on me in another post and the obscene PM you sent to me. I have now reported your last post on this thread too.
I am really sorry that you feel so upset about life. I know that you are pre-retirement age, but have retired. I hope that it is due to the lack of referrals you mention above and not something more sinister. I also hope you not such an old dog and can learn some new tricks.
There was a Sham 69 song: ACAB. It's not true.
You seem to think that anyone who works for an insurance company (as well as teachers according to one of the posts here) should fall under the same category. I work for an insurance company and not only are both my parents still living, they were married at the time of my conception.
I'm sure you have a number of good qualities, but you are not showing them on this forum!! Your continued attacks on individuals and professional groups merely makes you appear small and bitter.
Having said that, to quote 2 earlier posts, including one of yours: "I am entitled to my opinion".In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move. The late, great, Douglas Adams.0 -

Hello everyone, I just want to say THANK YOU TO EVERYONE AND I WENT TO COURT TODAY, AND I TOLD THEM MY CIRCUMSTANCES AND KINDA BEGGED TO KEEP MY LICENCE, THE RESULT WAS ..... 7 DAY BAN AND £185 FINE including court fees... after 7 days, everything will be back to normal. i have no points no nothing, clean licence after. My misery is finally over, i want everyone to learn from my mistake and do not drive an uninsured car.... even if its for 2 seconds, you never know whats behind you..
Thank you.... James. Why are we dying to live when we are living to die?

Hey, i have just been reading the thread over, and just want to say, I am sorry if i have caused a argument between you's, I think retired IFA, just said what he said #121 just to make me smile and keep me happy in terms of my case. and i understand how different people will take it the wrong way, but everyone forget the arguments and just live happily and stay out of trouble as i am sure i will. Thanks once againWhy are we dying to live when we are living to die?

Good to see its all been resolved James.
Okay your premiums will be higher, but hey, you can still drive and more importantly, you've learnt a valuable lesson.
Hope everything works out for you.0 -
Glad everything worked out for you.
Just to let you know, Retired IFA said something inappropriate and "non-pc". The post that he put the comment in has since been removed by a moderator and that is the end of the matter. It's a shame he felt it appropriate to say what he did in the first place and disappointing that he did not edit his own post to remove the comment.
I'm pleased that everything has resolved itself for you. All the best.In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move. The late, great, Douglas Adams.0 -

Glad you got it finally sorted.
I think I'd rather have had points TBH at least they get taken off your licence at some point and you don't have to declare them once they have gone.
Maybe I'm wrong but I thought you had to declare a ban for life?
Also if you haven't already, please let your ins co know of your changed circumstances, I'd hate for you to get into trouble for waiting till renewal time.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0
