Faith Hill - There you'll be
the words made me cry the other day when I really sat and listened to them.
In my dreams I'll always see you soar Above the sky
In my heart There will always be a place For you
for all my life I'll keep a part Of you with me
And everywhere I am There you'll be0 -

So sorry for your loss
My friend Lucie set up a resource website to support the bereaved. There's a list of suitable music on there - as well as lots of other free resources.

This thread started me thinking...i don't have any plans for my funeral (not intending on going anywhere for many years though!). Today i've made a list of music i would want, so my relatives will know what my wishes are. There's some lovely suggestions on here & i've included some of them. Now i'm off to do something happier0 -

My sister had a song by A-ha and also Forever Autumn.very sad.
My sister had thought about Angels by Robbie Williams but I am glad she didn't as it makes me said hearing it anyway but if it had been her funeral song it would have been worse.
Hope you make the 'right' decision.

at my dad's funeral, we had All Things Bright And Beautiful as one of the hymns, which was cheerful but still respectful.
everyone knows that at my funeral i want The Carpenters played - Top Of The World (Looking Down On Creation).
btw, i also want a cardboard coffin (money saving til the end) and my ashes are to be mixed into a huge firework rocket and set off on a dark starry night.
