I am still waiting on mine I ordered on the 10th sept, how long do they take to deliver?
Also has anyone got a list of books for the 10+ age group?
Thanks0 -
I ordered mine on the 15th Sept and they arrived this afternoon. The 1-5 selection is brilliant; excellent value for money and good selection, I'm very pleased with them. Also got a 5-9 selection which I'm a little disappointed with.
Oh and I got the Mr Men collection for myself - couldn't help it, it's the child in me! (I had a deprived childhood :rotfl: )I have the mind of a criminal genius. I keep it in the freezer next to Mother....0 -
I originally got two lots of books for age 1-5 and 9 of the books were duplicates. I complained and they sent me an extra set with only duplicate so really good value. Thanks for the advice for this.0

Got my 2 x lucky dips for 1-5 yr olds just now....
I am really surprised at just how good value for money this has turned out.
Books as follows
2 x tweenies 2005 annual (The only ones that are pretty useless to me)
2 x A year in Percy's Park - Large hardback (REALLY nice book - my fave of the lot)
2 x Giant Machines pop up book
2 x Tom Rabbit hard back
2 x large soft moon baby books which double as a cot toy as has a pull string which plays a nice lullaby
1 x Usborne chunky books - "Trucks"
1 x Usborne chunky books - "Diggers"
2 x Busy Buddy Hardback glitter book
1 x small hardback Kipper book "Colours"
1 x small hardback Kipper book "Opposites"
1 x Paddington Bear paperback
1 x Brer Rabbit paperback
1 x Percy the parkkeeper activity book
1 x Percy the parkkeeper colouring book
Shame they were a bit on the boy's side of things but I suppose I shouldnt be so stereotypical!
Definitely on the young side which is perfect for me as I have an 11 month old and a 6 month old Nephew....that's his Christmas pressie sorted.
I will be putting the older books away as my LO LOVES ripping paper at the mo!0 -
Looks like they're chucking the same books into every lucky dip - I've got 3 of those Tweenies annuals and haven't got a clue what to do with them! (My little one is too young for the activities, but older kids aren't really into Tweenies these days). Saw a few of these on ebay but nobody's buying them!
I also loved the Percy book, but only have 1. Would love to keep it for my little boy but it would be perfect for his older cousin as well... Decisions, decisions!0 -
Excellant post - recived my parcel for the lower age - partner very happy :-))Tell it as it should be....0

Mine arrived yesterday. Pretty much the same selection. Am a little disappointed to have quite so many duplications to be honest, but still have got a bargain for so many books for £10 (including postage) so I won't be complaining.
Not sure what to do with two Tweenies albums either - can't really give 2005 albums away as a present!0 -
I received my 2 x 10 year old parcels.
1 x Sandy Lane Stables - Dream Pony (Story)
1 x Hollyoaks
2 x Teasing Tongue Twisters Roald Dahl - Going Solo (Story)
1 x How to Embarrass Grown-ups (Poems)
1 x The Spiderwick Chronicles - Book 3 (Story)
1 x The Iron Way (Story)
1 x The Nature Beast (Story)
1 x The Fib (Story)
2 x The Voyage of the Arctic Tern (Poems)
1 x Badger on the Barge (Story)

!
Got pretty much the same selection as you. The hardback percy books are great! Was a wee bit dissapointed with the number of doubles and also one of the soft moon books was badly damaged so I phoned up the customer services... they couldn't have been nicer, appologised for it and refunded me for the cost of one of the lucky dips! 20 books for a fiver! Nice!!! :jEvery Penny's a Prisoner!!0
