    Hello,

Could anyone let me know what was in their lucky dip for 1-5 age group? I know one set was posted at the beginning of this thread, but would just be interested to know if that was pretty standard, or what to expect...

    Thanks in advance..

  • Has any one used the order tracking? I have 2 consignment numbers however nether of them work, so phoned the company today as my emails kept going unanswered. Have now been told that consignment numbers are correct, it just means delivery company hasn`t scanned them into there system. So i won`t recive my order till next week :( , we go away on monday so now won`t be here till i get back had ordered 4 lots of the lucky dips last week to amuse my childen while travling and while we are away, guess i will have to go shops and come up with plan B  now.
Just remembered a previous post re books left in garden, will the delivery company take them back untill we return off holiday or just leave them somewhere?
  • Does anyone know their emaill address? Maybe someone who has had a reply off them could check the address for me?

I've just spent 5 mins writing (twice!!) a email complaint about the ridicilous duplications I got in my parcel (on the form in the contact us page)but everytime I press "send" it comes up as error :p - annoying!
    ;)
  • I received my parcel today - ordered 1 x 5-9 and 1 x 9-13 - got over £110 of books - only three that are not really suitable for my children. Four of them were hardbacks. Really pleased.. Should keep my daughter going for a few weeks!
  • I have used the book people for ages and am a vip customer, but when I complained about my 2 lucky dips they informed me that if I wanted to return them I would have to pay postage and that as a good will gesture they would replace 3 of the books. When only 1 is suitable that is a very expensive book.

I shall have to think seriously about re ordering with them in future unless it is definaetly something I want - no more lucky dips!
  • Well my order turned up, I ordered 5x lucky dips including 2x 6-9, off which i recived 2 pairs of duplicates, Several of the books have damaged covers, i also ordered a 1-5 lucky dip of which we only recived 2x sticker books, however i was very happy with this selection overall and know my sons will be. I ordered a 10 plus which even i was impressed with reacon i will be borrowing them from my eldist daughter, the adult selection was ok nothing i would have picked myself but guess they be ok for a rainey day.
Can provide full list of books i recived in relivant catagories if any one wants to know, just let me know which catorgery, Lianne.
  • Have you tryed calling them?
I called yesterday and got through without to much hassle, as i found they don`t answer emails i called 01248 679395 chaper than the 0870 number, i got through no problems yesterday.

    Lianne. :T
