I reckon they must have been swamped by MSEres. We only wrote comments for a week and it's taken them ages to pay us all.

I wouldn't mind, but most of us were just doing a few to see if we actually got paid. God help them when they come back online!

To receive paypal payments funded from a credit card etc you can have any type of account, but to receive a credit card payment there is a handling charge, irrespective of the type of account.

Payments to a basic paypal account if it's from someone funding with a balance (ie someone else with a paypal account that's already got money in it) are the ones that are free.
This is in the paypal T&C when you open the account.

i hope they revert back to their old system soon, i think with a basic account you can only recieve 1 or 2 credit card payments per month...btw...does a premier account cost?

FYI: i got a message today from writersshare saying that at the moment they can only process about 100 payments per day and this is why it is so slow!

heres hoping their back soon!

There is no charge for a premier account, only a business account.

Have only just found this and I'm looking forward to getting started! I've been looking for something to do along the writing lines whilst I'm not at work (shift worker) so to do this and earn a bit of cash while I'm at it sounds good to me!

OMG you're so right, I hadn't thought of that. I heard from them today that they can only make 100 payments a day without penalty!!!

Well they paid people on two Fridays and yesterday, so that could mean at least 300 people!

I'm sure they are happy their site was posted in here, but they clearly weren't ready for it :rotfl:
