I've read a couple of the comments so let me get this right.

You get £1 for ever comment they accept.

However some people have been charged 27p from paypal? (Is this per pound) if so why (i hate technology but just got paypal for Slice the pie).

Is it worth it? Are people getting paid decent amounts and regularly.

    Worth a sign up?

    Thank you.

We haven't established why some people get charged by paypal and others not. It seems to be due to them having problems getting verified by paypal and being overwhelmed by the response, so that in order to pay everyone they've had to use different accounts.

I think everyone has been paid (I have, although the second time took a while), but the site has been down for a while as they were obviously not prepared for the response they had and couldn't keep up. That said, once they do get up and running, I think it should work nicely. I've been impressed so far, despite the problems. Everyone has been paid (eventually), they've been giving updates on the situation regularly and I think the feeling is that they are pretty genuine.

As for sign ups, you don't need to, at least with the system as it has been, although it might change. At the moment you just put in your details each time you submit a comment, there is no account system as yet. But I would say definately worth your time. I know I'm going to be straight over there when there are some new topics up

I still haven't been paid. I had 2 comments that I submitted over a week before the site shut down that got accepted. They were accepted a good 10 days or so ago. No payment yet. So doesn't look like they are all caught up yet I'm afraid.

Same here. On their update on the site (dated 25 April), they say there are about 200 people left still to pay - and they can only pay 50 people a day before PayPal plays up. Even the first week, when I did get paid, it was quite late before I received the payment, so must be near the bottom of their list.

    Hi!

You dont get 27p taken per pound, its a certain amount taken per transaction, so its better if you do more than one comment a week cause you only lose a small amount of money.

It will be better when they get the account system becasue then we control how much they pay us and when!
