no idea when new topics will be up...hopefully very soon, but obviously they want to pay everyone up to date before they start again, i personally think they will implement the account system before starting again because that way they wont have as many payments each week...i just hope they dont put a limit on how much you have to have before you withdraw!SPC Member #1654

Yahoo!!! I got paid!!!!!
Very happy (even though paypal took fees
) My payment aslo came from 'digivate'.
So I'm with the rest of the folks on this thread - they just weren't ready for all us MSErs:money:, but I do believe truly that their intentions are good - even if they are the middle man! Fingers crossed they are up and running with a system soon.0 -
Gerodie Joe (lost quotes boxes)
I figured out what they are doing with our comments.
They are using them as posts in their own blogs and getting paid for inserting a text link advert into the post.
I guessed it would be used elsewhere on web for more cash, so much space to fill
on websites. Too many readers not enough writers. I don't mind if I get paid my share for it... but I'm still waiting... ... ...it would be great if it works.0 -

I wouldn't mind, but most of us were just doing a few to see if we actually got paid. God help them when they come back online!
i think if the site is becoming too swamped, what they will do is make it harder to get a comment published. or just hire more staff. i can't see it closing down or anything.0 -

I got charged on my premier account - the one I use for ebay - so I opened a personal account as well - but got charged on that as well. I don't have credit cards and as you have to use a different bank account for each PP account, I think it might be because my account hasn't been 'backed' by a bank account yet.
I could open another bank account, I suppose. But what with? :eek:I don't drink, don't smoke, don't go out - why aren't I rich?
Don't worry, I'm working on it!0 -
There are charges for payments received to Premier accounts, and for payments to personal accounts that are funded by debit or credit card. The fee is 20p plus a percentage of the transaction value. See https://www.paypal.com/uk/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_display-fees-outside0
