They are using them as posts in their own blogs and getting paid for inserting a text link advert into the post.

Look on your cpanel, I am assuming you have web space, and look for the fantastico installer. It will install wordpress for you. Wordpress is the only blog software I am familiar with, so that's the only one I can help you with.
The compaines mentioned are actually in one of my posts in this thread. I think your blog has to be at least 3 months old and be listed in google to qualify. But until it is 3 months old you can put google ads on it, or any other ads to earn you money.
If you don't have web space google freehostia for some free web space you can install a blog on. I use them and they don't put ads on your site, nor do they mind if you never get any visitors.
If you are confident, and can use cpanel to create an sql database then you can download the latest version of WordPress and install it yourself. This is the way I do it there is a trick to install more than one blog using the same database.
Normal (fantastico) installations require one database for each blog.0 -

We have no idea. on 10 April they said the site was finished and they were just waiting for paypal to verify their account. This has been done now so hopefully it will be up and running soon.0 -

I agree Geordie Joe - I submitted comments to these guys when the thread was first opened and was paid promptly. Since the site went down, I've had 6 emails approving 6 comments I submitted, but as yet no payment. Having read recent posters on here receiving payment, I'm hopeful...0
