    What with one thing and another, I forgot to buy some pointy things yesterday. I'm not sure if it's safe for me to knit at the moment though. Since SWMNBM pulled the plug on me (isn't that a great phrase? :D ) I've been "sleeping" on the setee so I haven't had a proper night's sleep in well over a month. It's obviously catching up with me as just after I finished moving storage c******s onto pitches this morning, I fell asleep in the tractor :eek: Tonight I intend to take the motorhome into the quietest corner of the park, the part that's closed and adjoins the forest, and try for some serious sleep.

    Anyone know where I can guy some rubber knitting needles :rotfl:

    Martyn what does SWMNBM mean?I can't guess:confused::confused:;)

    I assume it means She Who Must Not Be Mentioned, but I'm not sure.

    Good luck at the spiritualist church tonight, I love them, but haven't been for a while. Hope you get a message (if you want one)

    She Who Must Not Be Mentioned. B****r, I've mentioned her :D

    As the tension in the bungalow gets thicker by the day, I'm working on alternatives. TBWWMNBM, TFWTISNHM, ATFWWTFWITA and so on. There's a prize for the first one to guess them all right :rolleyes:

    I'm not being nasty or flippant here, call it "gallows humour", if I don't laugh, I'll cry. And I've done too much of that already :o

    I thought that as well, and the second has two Fs in it, so I can guess those two words :rotfl:

    ...and the second one must be "That flippin' (;)) woman that I should never have married"...

    Benthosboy - are you sure you want us to guess them? :o

    MARTYN - you may not be able to buy rubber knitting needles/pointy sticks but you can buy children's needles which are bendy and a lot safer. They are in nice colours, too. The last ones I bought have one blue needle and one orange needle - bit funky, eh? Seriously, though, I do hope you find a peaceful spot where you can unwind in your motorhome; please try the knitting - it helps you to relax, honestly.

    Well, I've just bought the washing in off the line because it started to rain. It's really really cold out there now!

    I've decided we're having fish pie for dinner; I bought some lovely haddock which I'll cook in some parsley sauce with mushrooms and leeks, top with mash and shove in the oven. We really enjoyed the last one I did. Pudding, I hate to say, is a Creme Egg! I've had to hide them so I don't eat them. I could always eat one now and save the other one for when DH is at work - no, that's too mean!

    Well, off to do some knitting. See you all later.
