Twink, you'll embarrass Kyle. But OK you've made your point. You're not doddery. :D

Whatawit That's a shame. Did you get a big fine? Over here the fines & the points are doubled over Easter to crack down on speeding - accidents.

    Hi.

On Tuesday afternoon the coroner decided that there was a clear cut cause of death and that a PM was not needed.

Yesterday I went back to Manchester to get the certificate and to register Eric's death. That was for me the tipping point, to see his name on the certificate. I really don't know what I am going to do without him. Always whilst he was ill there was the hope that he would come home, now there is none. I am plodding on - I have to for the kids but I just want to curl up and die, this is so not fair.

The undertaker called today to sort out his funeral and it will be next Thursday. His neice and sister have organized the wake for me and are going to pay for it, for that I am grateful.

He will be coming home on Tuesday and I have to call at the undertakers on Saturday to drop off his clothes. The children want to write him some letters and I want to send him off with some bits - fishing hooks etc, he was always out of hooks.

I can't sleep despite being shattered, what little sleep I have had over the last few nights has been broken. Even a good dollop of alcohol isn't helping.

I haven't read all your pm's yet, I can't really face it, however I was bowled over by all your messages of support the other day and continue to be so. I am so touched that people I have never met have taken the time and trouble to think of us.

    Thank you.

    Smoky.

Smoky you have been so brave. Don't worry about reading pm s. We are just grateful to you for keeping in touch with us. We may never have met but we all talk on here daily and that counts for something. Your pictures and messages are missed and we really would do anything we could to help if only you weren't so far away. xxx
