Forgot to say earlier...have a wonderful holiday PenPen...my younger nephew has lived in Tonale for the best part of the last two years...he comes home 'for good' every so often but goes back after about a month...he loves it there, has become fluent in Italian and just works enough time in a bar to keep him going...food is very different in some cases to what we consider 'normal' Italian food, DD4 went there skiing with my brother earlier in the year and they had a ball...

Whatatwit...think that I got caught the other night when was leaving a friend of a friend home...road works had brought speed limit down to 60kph and I was doing around 65kph...don't mind a fine too much but would hate to be the first of my family to get points on my license....I have been driving for forty years!

    Good evening everyone,

Im feeling absolutely drained after today - with the children being off school i was busy today - LO whose last day it was was picked up early. Her mum did stay for a cuppa and some cake, and we were both in tears when it was time to go. Hopefully we will still stay in touch, would hate not to know how she is getting on!

Im now on holiday for the week - we arnt doing anything (no money) but will be nice not to have to get up early, and even if the weather is going to be bad, nice to just sit watching DVDs, snuggled up on the sofa with hot chocolate with squirty cream and marshmallows!! Who needs money and trips away, sounds good to me!! I love quality time with my children.

Looking forward to 9pm tonight - the new series of House starts on channel 5 (think its the ones Aussie started watching a few weeks back).

Im sure there are loads of people i should be mentioning, but my mind has gone blank, so ((HUGS)) to anyone who needs one, :hello: to all the new/returning posters and general love and hugs all round really!!!
Oh Pen pen - have a lovely holiday!!!!

    Have a lovely evening,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Hi everyone

Here at last. Had a busy day with the sewing machine. I had bought some plasticised canvas to make some covers for the awning, and poles, so as we are only a fortnight from going away thought I had better get my a$$ in gear. In between fighting to get a reasonable insurance to include DS. Ended up doing it via me with him named. Wish he could either get a job with a Company Car or where trains would suffice for two years until he is 25. Then had to get breakdown cover too as the last insurance had it in.

I had re-arranged all my stuff from one spare room to the other before Xmas before we went away, so actually sorted the two drawers full of sewing stuff as well. That pleased DH, tidy nut that he is.

Pen-Pen - have a great holiday, not done Italy yet, considering a 'van tour next year.

Pen-Pin - hugs - I am sure you are no burden, as I said last week SS have no idea, they were only interested in the type of music my Dad preferred. He couldn't hear any he is that deaf!

    (((((Smokybabe)))))))))

Late dinner (a brunch) is almost ready, I have been summoned.
    Take care. DG

PENPIN - your poor health is not your fault; it's not fair if they make you feel like a pain. I wish I could help - I wouldn't make you feel like a pain.

CATOWEN - you must be a lovely childminder and will have enhanced the LOs lives.

WHATATWIT - commiserations about the speeding ticket. So far, touch wood, I've never had one but I did get done once for parking across two bays. I only did it because it was the only way I could park because all the other cars there had done it. I double and triple check nowadays!

Well, DH was late home from work because he got stuck in traffic; fortunately the fish pie survived being kept in the oven and was delicious. I've just had a nice long soak and intend to stay awake and do some knitting. Hope everyone has a good evening!
