Do you have to pay a certain amount for Littlewoods or were you just hoping to use that £90?

I left £130 in my bank account to cover my Littlewoods min payment, but now £90 has been taken I'm short by £90. My silly fault, i should of remembered about holiday payment coming out! This month i will have enough to pay £300 extra at the end of the month, but its just a pain Littlewoods have changed their payment system and my payment date is earlier than normal, so this month I've had to make 2 payments .

I'm going to work hard and make the £90 i need, just sold a dvd on Amazon for £9.50, so thats a start :j

My OH and I are off to Las Vegas in September for a week. We've been before twice but love it a lot. Its probably not good for me to go somewhere i can gamble, that will only add to my debt :rotfl:, but i don't think the $1 slot machines really count as proper gambling.

Tell me about it. I've not started listing anything yet, may crack on with that dreaded task later. I start listing some of my 300 dvds - if I can part with any. They come in handy when I'm bored and in need of a girly flick pick me up!

    My updated SOA:

    Hayley's SOA

Total income per month = £1,000 - that includes my monthly overtime limit

    £100 - Rent
    £80 - Travel
    £84 - driving lessons - 4h's per month @ £21 per hour
    [strike] £4.34 - Dogs Trust [/strike]
    [STRIKE] £5.99 - Credit Expert cancelled [/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE] £5.68 - Laptop Insurance cancelled [/STRIKE]
    £5.69 - Life Assurance
    [strike] £4.99 - dvd rental [/strike]
£200 - Littlewoods - around the same amount each month goes out - sometimes i pay more
£21 - Barclaycard - only paying min amount at the moment
    £300 - parents
£20 - PAYG mobile phone, this gets me 600 texts per month & can use the £20 for calls

= £790.69 leaves £189.31 a month for bits for myself

    Debts

    £1,800 - parents
    £876.43 - Barclaycard - 24.9% APR
    £792.01 Littlewoods

    = £3,468.44

I have now cancelled my monthly film rental, and also cancelled Dogs Trust. Bit upset about cancelling dogs trust, but promised myself i will start paying into the trust again once debt free :j

I am still looking into cancelling life assurance, just waiting to hear back. Hopefully can get that cancelled and i'll be another £5 better off per month.

My weekend officially starts now :j:j, no more work until Monday!!!

I have no plans for tomorrow so I think I might spend the extra day i have off doing bingo and trying to make the £90 I need. So far all i have is the £9.50 from Amazon. I've not even listed anything on ebay yet. I must get cracking otherwise my payment will be late, and that will incur a £12 charge

Yesterday I somewhere managed to lose £10, was really gutted as i had got that money out to cover my trip to Sainsburys this weekend to buy bits for lunch next week. My own fault for being careless I guess.

I worked out all my payments until October last night and I should hopefully, fingers crossed, be debt free on the 29th October 2008. It may be sooner as i MIGHT get made redundant in September, so if i get some money from that it will go towards my debt if i have found a new job. I've only been at the company a year so i doubt i will get much for redundancy, i think it works out a weeks wage for every year I've been with the company, so thats not alot of money at all

Be lots of debt free celebrating in October then :j:j

Lilmiss, do you know what you are going to do once your debt free? save?

I can't believe I'm in on a Friday night, ever since trying to become debt free I have become rather boring. I can't go out with my mates as that costs money, of which I don't have right now. I think once I'm debt free i'm going to have a girls night and get rather drunk :rotfl:

I'm looking for a pink laptop bag at the moment, i'm trying to find one which i like and can order through Quidco. All the ones I like are over £50, madness. I think ebay might be my best option, cheap!!
