Just read a post about 50-75% off toys at Boots.com. Just had a look and ordered a Vtech Winni the pooh laptop for my lil niece for Christmas. She will be just old enough to use it at Christmas. Cost £7.49, was £29.99 :j:j

I love finding bargains, especially bargains i can put away for Christmas presents. Already got about 6 gifts in my present box :D

Be lots of debt free celebrating in October then :j:j

Lilmiss, do you know what you are going to do once your debt free? save?

I can't believe I'm in on a Friday night, ever since trying to become debt free I have become rather boring. I can't go out with my mates as that costs money, of which I don't have right now. I think once I'm debt free i'm going to have a girls night and get rather drunk :rotfl:

I'm looking for a pink laptop bag at the moment, i'm trying to find one which i like and can order through Quidco. All the ones I like are over £50, madness. I think ebay might be my best option, cheap!!

I am in tonight too though just found out my mates are out, texted me 10 mins before out so i couldn't get out ggrrrr lol. Especially as its pre wedding drinks for the hen night i went on last week! :(

I still go out, i have too otherwise would go mad, only once a month though normally.

The first month i am debt free i am going to shop for lots of clothes!!! And then start saving for a house deposit so me and OH can try for a baby once we have a house :)
Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month

Yeah I try and go out once a month too with the girls, but I just hate it when i have to watch the pennies whilst they are going mad not evening thinking about what they are sticking on their credit cards.

Shopping for loads of clothes is a fab idea lilmiss. I can't wait to be able to start saving for a house, i won't mind putting money away each month for that, i just hate giving half my wags away a month paying for a diet coke i had a year ago!

This weekend I have been a good girl, only spent £14.82, that was on a £12 summery top in New Look and £2.82 in Sainsburys on lunch bits for next week :j:j.

I've also been very good as i have now started to enter comps, entered around 100 comps this weekend. its quite addictive once you get started, I now live on the comps board :p.

I am an early riser today. I don't start work until 10 today so thought i would give bingo a go, just won £49 - woohoo! That can go towards the £90 i need.

Just a little update of my dfw progress!!

I had another lucky £55 win on the bingo this morning, so that’s £104 I’ve won in two days – woohoo!! I have now got enough money to pay my Littlewoods bill that’s due to come out next week, just praying it’s transferred into my bank in time. I still have £4.50 of “free” money to play, so going to play more bingo tomorrow morning, and see if I can win. I prefer to play bingo in the morning as I tend to win, I never win anything if I play in the evenings!!

I am now officially addicted to bingo and entering competitions, which is good news on the dfw front as all wins will go towards my debt and hopefully bring the debt free date down a month or two!

This week will be the second week I have started to make my own lunch for work, this is saving me £20 a week :j :j

I checked my bank this morning and the bingo win money has gone in, thats less than two days! Brilliant. I'm a happy bunny today as got enough money to pay my littlewoods bill, and even have around £12 left over to 'treat' myself - yay!!!

I did most of the sites too Lilmiss, but i was going to place a bet on the footie at the weekend on the William Hill website, instead i deposited £10 and started playing bingo, they also credited my bingo account with £20, so i had a bit of money to play with, I think thats why I won £104, I played soo many games.

I'm hoping to leave work on time tonight, I really want to get home and watch the Champions League final. Come on United :-)

    Hey Babes21,

I played on the William Hill website. You deposit £10 and they give you £20 :j
