Congrats on buying stuff for lunches, thats ONE of my weaknesses, going to the shop at lunch, doesn't help my waist either :rotfl:

I totally agree. Going out to buy your lunch is always sooo much better than sandwiches made at home. I'm actually amazed how cheap it is to make your lunch at home, 6 pitta breads plus a bag of salad cost £1.98 in the shops, so thats £1.98 for lunch all week. I spend around £4+ a day on lunch when i eat out. I think from now on I'm always going to make my lunch for work, will save me heaps! :j

Hiya just read your thread for the first time so thought it would be rude not to post!!

I can really relate to your diary i feel like im reading a diary about myself!! Im trying really hard not to spend on the clothes and stuff that i really really want, i find myself trying to keep up with my friends a lot of the time and i hate the thought of people thinking i cant afford things. Its stupid really though cause soon i will be the one with no debt and more money than all my friends!!

Anyway i wanted to wish you the best of luck and i will deff be following you journey from now on ~ i think i can learn a lot from you.

p.s Those littlewoods catalogues are sooo annoying

Well done on buying your lunch for the week, you'll save lots. Unfortunately i still buy my lunch daily for work, if i add it up over a month i could save lots, really need to start getting my a** into gear :D.

I've watched P.S. I Love You at the cinema, great film but had me in tears throughout, such a soppy one hehe.

Hi Shopaholic2008, thank you for your post.

I'm getting better at not spending silly amounts on clothes, I still go in the shops every now and again and wish i could buy new bits, especially with summer coming. Looked at all my summer clothes from last year and half are still in fashion, so I'm happy - that will save me a fair bit. Only thing i would like to get are a few summery dresses I've seen in Miss Selfridge.

If you've not started a diary yet, start one, they are a really good way to record your progress. I tend to forget things easily, so keeping up to date on here really helps :j

My P.S. I love you dvd came yesterday, not watched it yet, but its not out till tomorrow in the shops, thats brilliant service from Play.com, i even got the free book, which i have already sold on Amazon for £4 :j.

Today an unexpected payment has come out of my account, i knew about it, but totally forgot i had set it up for this month. This now leaves me £90 short for my Littlewoods bill due 26th May - and I don't get paid till 31st May so thats no help.

Can anybody come up with ways to make £90 by the end of May? I was thinking trying Bingo again, I never did any of the £1 sites, only a few of the £10 sites. I will also ebay/Amazon a few bits and cut down on my spends for the remainder of this month.

My Dvd rental subscription comes out next week, I may return the dvd i have now and cancel it, that will give me £4.99, not a lot i know but all adds up.

I think tonight is going to be a boring night of bingo and listing stuff on ebay and Amazon!!!

Do you have to pay a certain amount for Littlewoods or were you just hoping to use that £90?
