I arrived home today to find my Boots order. I'm very very impressed with the Winni the Pooh laptop for my niece. It only cost £7.49 and its brilliant. I've put that away in my present box ready for Christmas :j.
I have just entered another 60 competitions, I'm getting addicted to entering comps.
I'm looking forward to payday next week, I can knock some money off my debt, and update my signature. October is getting closer and closer and I can't wait to be debt free :j:j.
I wish Friday would come quicker, this week has been a busy week at work and i'm tired out. Looking forward to the three day weekend

Right, a bit of a dilemma regarding work. Today i had a meeting with my MD about changes to our team at work, unfortunately today I have been told I can accept the change in my job, which has now been turned into a part-time role (25 hours per week) but he's promised me the chance of overtime every month to boost my hours to my usual 38 hours per week. I am not very happy about this because I love the company i work for, great bunch of people and I enjoy the job, but i'm getting older (23 now) and I don't think reducing my hours and getting paid less is any career move in the right direction.
I can now can either accept that I am going to be made redundant at the end of September, or wait until the new salaries have been worked out at head office and see if my wage will not change a lot.
I have only been with the company a year so the redundancy is hardly anything, but its something when looking for a new job.
So guys, what do i do, turn down the role offered and accept I'm going to be made redundant or wait until the salaries have been finalized and then make my decision???
The next meeting with the MD is mid June, so I really need to have a decision for him by then, I'm just hoping the salaries have been decided by then.
I guess this is a kick up the bum to make me be debt free by end of September. I want to not have to worry about debt when I may be looking for a new job come October.
I'm off to enter some comps, I need all the wins i can!!!0 -
Just signed up to Lotto24 using Quidco, just hoping that tracks as they are offering £15 back. Just noticed my £10 has tracked when i signed up to William Hill last week - woohoo!!!0

Well Lotto24 has tracked on Quidco and already been validated for payment in July!0

I guess it depends on the salary and that they can definitely say you will got those extra hours.
Hope you get it sorted though, being worried about your job is not good especially when your finances aren't perfect! Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Things are still up in the air at the moment with my job, I'm still waiting on salaries to be decided, which probably won't be until mid/end June. If they cant guarantee me the extra hours and the salary is rubbish then I will have to turn down the role and accept redundancy unfortunately. I can't live on rubbish money and only work part-time to make my company happy, because they don't want to see me go.
Been looking for jobs online, there is something i have always been interested in yet never had the bottle to go for, but it will be hard work getting past the interview/fitness tests etc. Its totally different to the job i do now, but just checked the website and they will be recruiting in August in my area.
Hmmm decisions decisions!!!0 -
Ooooo what you want to do? *Puts nosy hat on*
At the end of the day its your life, you have to do whats best for you not them!

I definitely agree, whatever I decide will be for me and whats best for my future.
I think I may go for the job I'm interested in though, I'll apply in August and see what happens.0 -
Well I have been paid so time to update the totals :j:j, i love this part of the month.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to knock that much off my debt this month, only managed to pay £257.50 . I'm not happy with this but i need to crack on with my driving so have paid out £500 for an intensive course. Hopefully this will be it and I will pass my first test in June. Once i can drive it will save me soo much not having to use public transport. Buses/trains are expensive
I managed to get two free tickets to the British Motor Show today, very happy about this
:D, my OH and I went a couple of years ago and it was fab! 0
