Yikes, how am i going to cope on just over £1 a day to spend . I have already got bits for my lunch next week, so unless i don't slip up and buy magazines and other rubbish i don't need I should be okay. Its the weekends that worry me. Unfortunately you can't do much for free these days, and I hate staying indoors for longer than 5 hours, i get bored .

I thought i cancelled my online movie rentals, but it turns out i didn't. £4.99 came out of my account on Friday, so i now have unlimited movie rentals in June. Hopefully this will keep me busy and not want to go out.

Its time for my daily challenge update :D

    Monday 2nd June

£1.10 - some choccy and some sweets , was yum tho!!!

    £29.86 - until 27th June

Today was a manic day at work, but it went so quickly! I done 3 hours overtime today. This month I reckon i will be able to do around 20 hours overtime as a work colleague is on holiday for two weeks, so i'm going in earlier and finishing later.

Well today has been a good day challenge wise. I actually made money instead of spending it today. My friend at work gave me back the £5 i lent her a few weeks ago, i totally forgot about it to be honest. Getting it back today was great as its given me an extra £5 to last unti 27th June. I was bit naughty though, i treated myself to a magazine and a bar of choccy :o

    Tuesday 3rd June

    £1.66 - magazine and choccy

    £33.20 left until 27th June

Forgot to metion i did another 2hrs overtime today-woohoo!!

Unfortunately i really dont think im going to be able to stick to my challenge this month. I forgot its also my bros brithday this month, as well as fathers day.

I'm thinking £15 on my dad - bit tight this month, but also taking him out for a meal with my bros and sister so that'll be another £25 on top for the meal. Bros birthday, i'll probably get him £15 vouchers for River Island, or maybe the usual boy shop, Game!!

15+25+15=£55 on Birthdays/Fathers Day - thats definately going to take me over my budget.

    Hi Hayley

Just dropping in quick to say theres a good comp on at the moment.

Buy a bottle of diet coke with the movie promotion on the label and enter your code on the bottle on www.coca-cola.co.uk and you can win a cinema ticket only for cineworld or vue though. Everyone who enters seems to be winning as theres 2500 to give away everyday!

Ive brought two bottles of diet coke from tesco as there 2 for £1.50 at the mo....same with asda i think. I entered both my codes and won both times so have 2 tickets!:D which is fab coz want to go see Indie at cinema!;)

Hiya Mariagti :hello: , thank you for letting me know!!!

I had two bottles of diet coke of which i was going to take home tonight, but the cleaners beat me too them and they got chucked away. My fault really for leaving them on my desk. I'm always buying bottles of coke so fingers crossed winning some cinema tickets. I went last week with my friend to see Sex in the City and the ticket cost me £8.50 - thats daylight robbery. Free tickets would be fab as i'd also like to see Indie.

    Thanks again Maria

Right, I managed to do another 1.5hrs overtime today, so thats 8hrs total so far this week. I'm pleased with that.

    My totals so far are...

    Wednesday 4th June

£1.87 - Tescos - some dinner bits for OH and I.

    Thurssday 5th June

£3.00 - treated myself to some lunch
    £1.29 - birthday card

    £27.04 left

I have just worked out how much i have paid off my debt so far this year, and i'm very happy to say the total is £1,592.23 :j

    The breakdown

    £779.00 - Littlewoods
    £800 - Parents
    £13.23 - Barclaycard

I am a little bit dissapointed with the little amount i have paid off Barclaycard, but i didn't expect it to be much as i only ever pay the min amount every month, which is £20, and £16 odd of that goes on the interest.

Decided now since Littlewoods doesn't charge me interest every month i am going to start paying the min amount, and overpaying the Barclaycard. Hopefully this will cut down the amount of interest i get a month.

I am now doing a bit of overtime every month at work, so this will help heaps with my overpayments.

I think i'm still on track to become debt free by October/November :D
