Luckily i had changed my bag that morning as my OH and I were taking my lil 1yr old niece to the zoo, so i only had my little across the body bag, but unfortunately i didn't have it over my shoulder at the time, just put it on the buggy for a minute, and it was gone :mad:0 -

I have my credit card as i don't take that out with me, but i am stopping myself using it. I havn't added anything to my debt in about 7 months, and i'm so proud of myself for that.0 -
Nothing much to add to my diary today, other than my username has now been changed to thepinklady. MSE very kindly let me change it as i was using my full name before, and now i'm totally addicted to this forum thought best i change it.
I have also had a NSD today, woohoo!!! Lets hope i don't make any stops on the way home.

I thought it was about time i updated my diary.
I have been struggling the past few days, i think not being able to treat myself and buy the things i need, well i say need, things i WANT, is getting to me a little. I have a long list of stuff i WANT and keep going to buy the bits but then i resist and put the items back. I'm proud that i'm stopping myself, but at the same time i'm getting abit down in the dumps and have stopped taking lunch into work and have ended up buying it everyday, so i'm £19 down this week.
I stupidly forgot to pay my Barclaycard the other day, I missed the payment due date by one day and horrible Barclaycard wouldn't refund the £12 charge  . My own fault as i cancelled the direct debit last week as in the middle of changing banks, and i was meant to set it back up but it slipped my mind. I have never missed a payment, so was very unhappy that it will now appear on my credit report. Not good. I have learnt my lesson though.
Payday on Friday, and I CAN'T wait. I won't be able to pay as much off my debt as i'd like too as i have my holiday to Las Vegas to pay for, but i am able to pay off £300, so that will bring my total to just under 3K :j0 -
Awww thats a shame about Barclaycard
Well done for resisting, maybe you could buy something small to cheer yourself up?Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
I was thinking about just buying something small for myself, but i question everything i buy at the moment, and always end up putting the item back. Just looked through my list and i have a few small bits i could get when i get paid.

You need a treat sometimes otherwise you might become so frustrated you end up going back a step! Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0

The scary thing is i don't let myself buy anything, i know its my heart telling me "just wait, not long now until you are debt free", i'm hoping i'm able to treat myself when debt free without feeling guilty.
My 4 free cinema tickets came this morning - woohoo!!! I guess i can go see a film with the OH and treat myself to a BIG bag of pick a mix - yum yum!!!!0
