I needed a few bits today, so haven't started off great with this months pay...

    Today i have spent:

£2.54 - Sainsburys - bought BOGOF on deodrant and some grapes
£4.18 - Boots - needed some more facewipes and they were BOGOF for the Nivea ones i use so grabbed them. Also bought a bottle of diet coke! naughty me!

Total - £6.72 - thats £6.72 more than i wanted so spend today

    I must do better tomorrow!!

Boring night in for me tonight so no £££ being spent, which is good! :T

 Well done getting your balance down under £3k.

Are your debts in different places? Could you not get a 0% card and move them all across to one card? So all you have to worry about is one payment a month? I only say that as thats how ive paid off mine so quick by putting it all on one card. Littlewoods must charge alot of interest being a catalogue and all.

    Thanks Maria.

Littlewoods do not add any interest because they just over charge for the items, so nothing extra gets adding on each month, which is good news. The only debt i pay interst on is Barclaycard, and thats around £12 a month. I would sort out a 0% deal but now i don't see the point as hopefully the credit card debt will be gone soon. Most of my debt is too my parents who paid for me to go travelling a year ago, and they keep telling me to forget about paying them back, some early inheritance as they put it. But they are only young still (late 40's) so they could use this money for a nice holiday when my younger brother is 16 and can be left alone in the house :D .

Well, i spent £110 this weekend when i went back home with mum and dad to view a few houses. We went shopping and i spent £110 on my credit card

I wanted to not feel guilty about it as i hardly treat myself, but i was just about to update my sig and include the money i spent on the card, but i really didn't want my debt to be past £3K again. I have therefore decided to take the tops back to Miss Selfridge, and get my £42 back. So in total i only spent £68 :D my total debt now stands at: £2,984.17 -much better!!!

    Thanks Lilmiss.

Spending £68 out of my monthly wage on myself is probably not awful. Actually, i have spent £768 out of this months wage on myself, paid £700 towards my holiday on Saturday. Just think, if i paid that off my debt i would be near 2K now, and not 3K. Ah well....!!

AHHH! Your going Vegas when in debt! Could be risky with all the casino's! I hope you got a good deal! Im jealous! :D

When shopping you've just gotta think do i really need this? I have spent ages in shops picking things up i like the look of putting it in my basket then i add it up and and think do i really need this? 9 times out of 10 i dont and put it back!:rotfl:

And thanks again for posting on my diary:A

I go to Vegas in November, so fingers crossed I will be debt free by then and can celebrate a little whilst on holiday :j :j

I returned some tops back to Miss Selfridge yesterday and got my money back, so thats a good step to become debt free sooner :o
