£10 of my budget has now gone, I have just done the Betfair offer through Quidco. Deposit £10 and you get £30 back. I happily took up the offer as the Euro 2008 starts this weekend, and i love footie so just had fun spending £10 betting on tomorrows matches :j , fingers crossed i win too, that would just be an added bonus.

I now have £50 validated on Quidco, and another £70 tracked on Quidco :D

Total money left - £14.21  (but totally worth it)

Well i have failed my challenge  . I went out today with my sister and we ended up hitting the shops as the weather looked a bit overcast.

    Saturday 7th June

    £9.00 - primark
£2.00 - Glamour mag - totally worth it though to get a free £13 lipgloss
    £1.99 - 2x drinks
£3.59 - Panini and a coffee in Caffe Nero

    Total -minus £2.37

I did win a cinema ticket today on the Coca-Cola offer. I put in one code last week, and today received an email to say i'd won. Just about to enter in 3 more codes, so fingers crossed.

    Time for a wee update.

Well my challenge has finished because i went over budget - hopefully try again next month.

Been very good last few days, Saturday i spent a bit, well £17 but thats a lot to me when trying to become debt free. Sunday was a good day, only spent £3.99 all day, and that was on a bottle of rose to take to a friends BBQ.

Today i took my own lunch into work, but treated myself to a few treats. Can of diet coke, bag of crisps and some chocolate, yummy! Total spend today£1.98 - i'm happy with that.

I forgot on Satuday i had bet for yesterdays footie, i checked last night and my account had been credited with £5, you are unable to withdraw a small amount so i used that to put another bet on (i know not very dfw like), and the team i bet on won tonight, so have made nearly £23 profit. I'm really chuffed about that. I was going to have another bet, but i have been a good girl and withdraw it. That money will be paying for a nice pink laptop bag i have seen!

Hoping tomorrow will be a NSD, fingers crossed!!

    Hello Lilmiss,

Welcome back, I hope you had a fab time on holiday?

Last few days I have been awful with money  . I went out Wednesday night with some girlfriends and spent £50 on food and drink, god knows how. Also I have been buying my own lunch for the last few days, spent nearly £20 – really not happy about that, but on the bright side I have not added anything to my debt, so I will have to work extra hard for the next couple of weeks and have a lot of NSD's.

I had my bag stolen on Saturday and i had £70 in my purse  . It really does make you sick that people could steal from hard working folk. Money is now quite tight until payday on the 27th June. I have to watch every penny i spend.

I have my credit card as i don't take that out with me, but i am stopping myself using it. I havn't added anything to my debt in about 7 months, and i'm so proud of myself for that.

I'm so sorry to hear about your bag being stolen Hayley. I hope that you get some sort of nice surprise now to make up for it.

    Chin up :o
