At the car boot last weekend I got the most gorgeous vintage Joseph Ribkoff black diamante top - wore it to the pub this evening and everyone commented on fab it is. Cost me a cool £2!
Other secondhand bargains have included a working CD/ cassette player for 20p, a pile of 1960s Reader's Digest magazines (great fun!) for 1p each, a Wedgwood Clarice Cliff reproduction plate for 10p, a vintage leather bag for 20p which I used a couple of times and later sold on eBay for £42, a nice big livingroom wall unit for £6, and a £25 auction lot described as a "Collection of prints, magazines etc" which included hundreds of pounds worth of original drawings.0 -

DH bought five magic books, including Derren Brown's Pure Effect and Absolute Magic, (which sell for around £80-£100 each) for £15 from a book stall, but inside AM there was a crisp £20 note.
I bought an Anya Hindmarch makeup bag for 10p that was originally given away free with Harpers and sold it for £25, but best for me was probably Movie Maker board game, bought at a car boot sale for 25p and sold for £75.0 -

A Silver Cross fold-up pram! Cost £8 in the car boot, had one of the foot-covering blankets (the zip up ones), rain cover, umbrella, the works. Is a FANTASTIC rpam and checked the price on eBay and the likes when I got home, and it turned out to be a fab buy! Was in Kiddicare a few weeks later and one of the blokes that worked in the warehouse said he hadn't seen one in years because they'd stopped stocking them, because they lasted FOREVER and no one needed any other prams after that!Sealed Pot Challenge!
