What was your best ever bargain from eBay, a jumble sale, car boot sale or charity shop? My best bargain was a lined Calvin Klein skirt from the charity shop for £9.00 :j

A slightly battered Le Creuset cast iron gratin dish. £1.00. I cooked our dinner in it tonight.A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.
Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.

I can beat that. My best find is a FREE :j sorry had to shout was a free Hotpoint dishwasher a friend was throwing out as she had redone her kitchen. It works perfectly and I also had the plumbing bits already in the garage so that didn't even cost anything. Also got a free carpet shampooer from another friend who had recarpeted her house. I will lend it back to her when her new carpets get dirty:rotfl: It's just a case of being in the right place at the right time when someone is having a clear out and you find a bargain. I also got a breadmaker at a carboot for £1 - it was new and unused they thought it was a deep fryer and didn't want to take it back to the shop.:rotfl:0

My daughter found a pair of size 8 jeans in the local charity shop for £2 They were marked at £3 but the lady let her have them for £2 because they were 'scruffy' lol. They still had them in Next for £45.
I got a brand new in box Kenwood Icecream Maker for £2 from the car boot
DD was delighted with a large new stainless steel teapot for £1 so she could make tea for 6 in her student house and use only 3 T bags or 3 spoons of loose tea. She's very MSE!Doing voluntary work overseas for as long as it takes .......
My DD might make the odd post for me0 -

Loads of things, although my favourite was the unexpected find of a 1960s silk football scarf that I got for a £1 from a shop here in Edinburgh. Given that it was my time (not one of Scotland'd bigger clubs!) and that it the Scotland badge at the other end, it's been an unexpected gem of a find. I love it. I'm sure another supporter would porbably pay about £100 or so for it, but they're not having it!Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0

A rega planar 3 at a car boot sale for £5. Sold on ebay the next week for £250. That was fun. I always check out old turntables when I see them at boot sales people often offload very valuable equipment from the 70's for next to nothing. Amps are not usually worth it but turntable most definately. My OH spotted another, can't remember make, for £15 which we again got well over £200 for on ebay.0

A signed CD for £1, as the seller didn't know if the signature was genuine or not, turned out it was."Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art."
