Kathy are you keeping the hats in this thread or starting a new thread for each challenge?

in any case count me in i've just printed the super stretchy hat pattern off and sent an email to the loving hands sayig im a wooligan who wants to start knitting hats for them as part of our next challenge.

I'll get my square and card sent off to Lainey today, the square on my needles finished adn then make a start on a hat.

BTW where is my last square going is that needed for naomi or smokey?

Mrs Moneypenny - Lainey said that we had reached the total needed for Smoky and the Smokelets including two that were still on the needles, so it depends on whether one of those still on the needles is yours! Lainey - can you remember if Mrs Moneypenny's square was one of those still in progress?

I hadn't thought of starting a new thread for each challenge. If anyone has any ideas on that, please post on here, please!

I'm just looking at which hat to start now; I have one more round to do on my last square for Naomi so I want to have my next project ready to start tonight!

Hi Guys, sorry I haven't posted earlier than now , had a hectic day at work and then just managed to settle down and catch up.
Now I've finished blubbering at all the posts and messages that have been sent in the last day I'm glad I didn't log in at work, my colleagues would have thought I'd lost the plot sat at my my desk blubbering :rotfl:!

anyway...to business.... Mrs moneypenny, the square you have on the needles was included in my last count so can you post it to me please?

I can't thank you all enough for your kind words, this is really a pleasure for me. I'll post as many pics as I can to keep you all up to date on my progress and when we send or take the blankets to Smoky I'll let you know how it went. If smoky is up to a pic I'll try and get one for us but I'm not going to push the point IYSWIM.

Hi Lainey - hope you are more relaxed now after your hectic day! This thread has definitely become very moving, hasn't it? People are saying such lovely things.

I posted my last square to you today, along with a load of used postage stamps for your charities. If it's OK with you, can I send stamps again when I've saved up some more? It's great to know they can be used for good causes. I used to save them for my DS1 when he collected stamps as a boy; he gave that up years ago but I can't get rid of the habit!

You now have the marathon task, Lainey, of doing all that sewing up! I hope you don't find it too much and thank you so much for doing it. It's a very generous thing you are doing. I wish I could be there sewing up with you. I bet we'd never stop talking, would we? You never know, maybe one day we will have a 'mini-meet. That would be great!

I have printed off three hat patterns from the Loving Hands site and have decided to make the 'top knot' hat first because, well, because I like it! I have also posted my first post on their forum and said 'hi' to Pippa and R.Mac. I have kept the name 'mioliere' on there, as well.

Hi Pippa - I'm exactly the same with all the 'extras' on here. It was only recently that I found out about the lights that show when you are on MSE. I think it was Haribo Junkie who told me that! She said 'I see your green light is on' and I had to say 'what green light?'! (:hello: my favourite one!) :rolleyes:

I have just finished another square so that is 2 more for OEC, so 6 for OEC and 5 for Smokey, this last one was a cat motif that had to be finished off so quite emotional for me after losing my dear old cat today but knitted with love and hopefully it will help to keep someone warm.

I'm on the lovinghands site as well, the top knot baby hat is lovely.

Lainey i WILL finish the square im doing and post that and the other one plus card off by the end of the week is that ok, sorry i should have posted the other stuff already but its been manic here. last night i didnt even get a chance to get my needles out:mad: .

ive sign up on loving hands with the same name, i think i'll do one of the super stretchy hats first i've got the pattern printed off ready
