Hi PIPPA - to get extra smileys, when you post on here you'll see underneath the box you type into, a 'go advanced' button. This takes you to another page to type your post; alongside that, on the right hand side, is a box of smileys, click on 'more' and loads more come up!If you want to put different smileys in different parts of your post, make sure you close the 'more' window down with the cross at the top of the box or the 'close window' button at the bottom; if you just press 'return' on your keyboard, you won't be able to open the 'more' window again.
Here are just some of the extra smileys!

Hi Tattycath - sorry! I, too, like this one:EasterBun and I love this one :coffee:. I'm drinking one right now! It would be great if we could all meet up; I said that to my DH and he said he could just imagine us all chatting away as if we had known each other all our lives! It feels like that, though, to me. Besides MSE, we have found a common link in knitting; not many of my 'real' friends knit and my DH is not interested in knitting patterns even though I make him look at the new ones I find online (he makes me look at drills and boxes of screws!).My Mum loves to knit but she lives 100 miles away so we don't meet up as often as we'd like.

Anyway, I'm waffling. See you later!

Hi Greengrass - we have another challenge if you want to take part! We are aiming to make 50 hats for Save the Children. I'll go and find the post with all the info.

Many thanks for taking part in the 'squares' thread - it's been a wonderful experience for me!

This is the post I wrote for the new challenge:

    Hi All,

I haven't been on here for a little while and I've just finished catching up with the thread and all I can say is

    WOW WOW and WOW

How amazing has the last few weeks been?
I get a big buzz out of doing things for other people and I like to do atleast one thing a day. Well OK so my quota is full for the next few months but hey so what.

Although I haven't been knitting squares lately I have managed 2 scarves and nearly finished the jumper for my 3 year old. So as soon as that's finished I shall have a look at the loving hands challenge.

Lainey could you put a note in for Smokey for me, something along the lines of you're never alone and can get comfort from complete strangers with lots of love n stuff.

    Thanks

Best get back to balancing the books as am at work!! Ooops!

Hi Sarah - good to hear from you. Yes, it's been a fantastic few weeks, hasn't it? So much so that I don't want it to stop. It would be lovely if you can take part in the next challenge - you did so well with the squares!
