Thanks for the new numbers update Lainey. I don't have any I'm currently doing, but if I have time 2mo night I shall check back and see if any more need doing (I currently have 3 to post to Naomi for the HTA squares, so if more need doing I shall do another and send all at once at the end of the week)

I posted mine today. One lot to Lainey & the other to Naomi. I told DH it was probably just as cheap if I flew over with them myself but he was having none of it. :rolleyes:

Lainey - I noticed she didn't put any stamps on the parcels. It was like a receipt from the till. Maybe they don't do stamps anymore for OS parcels.

Morning Wooligans, I am posting off 3 more squares for Smokelets blankies today, we're nearly there :j I've looked at all the photos and they are great. I will go on the site for the hats and see what I can do.

lainey the last of my sqs have been posted off to you, and I have put a little card in for Smokey and the childrens memory book.

I havent any on the go now, but I finished off 2 for OECS last night I will press them later today, and send them off to Naomi.

Hi Lainey, I found some wool i had forgotten about in the loft on Friday night and knitted one square over the weekend to send off to you today, i havent started another.

I know i said I wasnt going to do one for smokey as i doubted i would have the wool in time and it looks like i could have been right! With all those still to come to you, i can see you having a few spare!

If you want this one let me have your address and i will send it today. That will make me one for OECS and one for smokey.

I will start some 7" squares now I think. I found some nice cream dk in B&M yesterday when i went in for one of their minigreenhouses. I couldnt resist just one ball at 79p so i will use that for OECS.

With the nice weather on its way (please!!!) I will be spending as much of my spare time as i can in the garden so nice simple sqares that come off the needles quickly will be best for me.

HI all - Lainey - if you get too many squares, make yourself a cushion as a reward for all the sewing up! If you do, please post a photo of it!

AussieLass - how mean is your DH not letting you fly over! It would have been a great excuse for a mini-meet! Tell him I'll pop over and collect anything else you knit if he pays the fare! Our post office prints labels to put on parcels instead of stamps, too! Perhaps Health and Safety rules won't let the staff lick stamps!

Well, I feel everything on here is revving up for the grand finale. It feels really exciting; if we were all together I could imagine fireworks, balloons and champagne corks being popped! It's such a shame we can't all be together for this, isn't it?
