Knit Your Square To Give Your Share -IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ THIS POST FIRST!!!

Hi all, well, it was like xmas in the stardust household this evening!!! I got home to find packages waiting from catznine, mrs moneypenny, pippa.s, sarahpeck, beethebee, pol, jellybeans ,seakay and squishy!! they are all absolutely gorgeous .THANK YOU SO MUCH EVERYONE!!! I'm going to try and put a pic on the yahoo site as soon as i can.
pol, please thank your DH for hand delivering your squares.
also, again , thank you all for your kind words ,I'm so proud to be a part of this.

I've just done a count and am about to send my numbers over to mioliere, hopefully we can then post a completely accurate count and then update once a day from there. I have to tell you guys, we're almost there with the numbers needed for smokelets blankies. you guys are truly amazing!!!

I have one done and I just have had an awful day at work so after dinner DH watching football and I have the second square half way done! Should maybe have done the ironing, cleaned the bog but no. Needed R & R with the knitting.

Do you want them just trickling in as one or twos as I am never sure when I can do another one?

Will be happy to post off as soon as. What a major effort putting them together - you are a star. I have left huge casting on and off bits with mine but will include a bit more wool in case you need it.

I have just back tracked and my colours totally wrong for the young Smokys. I have gone Ape !!!!!! again! I have done vibrant orange and golds so maybe thinking Smoky's blanket. Will need to think again. However, my squares will benefit someone!

hi all again, just sent my count to mioliere so we shall add grannybroons to the next count tomorrow to avoid any confusion iyswim.
grannybroon, welcome to the wooligans. send your squares whenever you're ready chuck.
pinkfairy, the fudgy colour will be lovely, don't worry.

I'm not going to start sewing till i've received everyones squares so that i can put one from each wooligan in Smokys blanket. I was going to start monday but have decided to wait.
at the last count we have 39 wooligans, 27 of whom have knitted for Smoky and the smokelets so i will put one square from each member into Smokys blanket to start and then use the rest of the squares after I have sorted out the others into piles according to colour for the smokelets.
i hope that's ok with everyone, let me know,I honestly don't mind if anyone has a different thought on this.

Granny, just read your post. your colours are fine , I have all colours of the rainbow in the wooliogans bag at the mo believe me!

catznine what a lovely colour, I wouldnt worry about the wavy edges they will pull out when they are stitched up.

Hello everyone

I've done one more square for HTA (just plain garter stitch as I was really tired this evening). I can do more 2mo and at the weekend as I've got lots of red wool! (shall check back to see how many more are needed for the HTA blankets)
