  • Hi again,
    beethebee
, your squares were waiting for me, your card is lovely and will be going in the keepsake book. ;)
    Seakay
    - your squares arrived too, the tree of life is a lovely and I promise it will go in Smoky's blanket, your note will go the book too.;)
I've replied to the PM I got today, thank you everyone for your kind words.:o

If I'm honest I think its a bit confusing having two sites with the totals running too. Not everyone will sign up to the yahoo site so having totals running on both sites means they will never tally. I'm worried that it may become a little hard for us all to keep up with posting on two sites and may put folk off joining us. Could I suggest that we keep the running totals on this site along with the chat (also , maybe it would be better to only update the totals once a day?) and use the Yahoo site for our pics as it seems a bit easier to upload them onto that site than here.

these are just my thoughts folks.

going to start a new square, catch up with y'all later luv n stuff, Lainey:p

I'm glad it wasn't just me getting confused. I'm sat here watching the apprentice (Are they really intelligent people?). Have managed to crochet another 2 squares this evening for the HTA blanket. Need to go in the loft and look for more wool. I think I may have some black in there. If I have do you want it for sewing the blanket?

Hi all! Haven't you all done well? I don't think I'll ever quite believe the way this whole idea has taken off!

I quite agree with Lainey about the confusion and agree that we should keep the running totals on here because not everyone will find the Wooligans on Yahoo - although I intend to post the link to it on here as often as I remember! Here's today's mention http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/Wooligan/.

I have pm'd Lainey and suggested that she and I each do a count of the squares and make sure we come up with the same figures and from then on will update at around the same time every day - probably in the evening. This daily update can then be posted on the Yahoo group but only for information. Yahoo seems to be very successful for uploading photos; I will try to get mine of there having not been able to on the thread, for some reason.

Like you CATZ - I have struggled with some of my squares because I think I was too ambitious with the designs and patterns, and I am annoyed at the time I have wasted when I should have gone for something simpler! Anyway, I hope to get mine off in the post to Lainey today but I have done nowhere near as many as I would have liked. Everyone has done so well it has put me to shame.

Thanks all of you for what you have done and continue to do - it gives me such a warm glow when I see the numbers add up and all the lovely photos. What a talented bunch you are.

Will do a recount later then see what numbers Lainey comes up with and then post with the 'official' running total so we all know how far we have got!

    Will catch up later.

Hi Aussie - we're having another count up today to try and make the running totals less confusing. We have you down for 2 squares for HTA and 2 for Smoky but should that now be 3.5 for Smoky? We hope to post an 'official' running total on here later on today!
