    I'm in.

As long as the square is not 2' by 2'

The last time I did this the squares were 30 stitches by equal height. :)

    Hi everyone

While strictly speaking we normally ask site users not to exchange personal details, just out of concern for everyones' safety, if you could pick a central charity that the squares could go to then feel free to use this thread to "rally the troops" so-to-speak

    Andrea :)

I'd like to see the look on their faces as letter after letter of knitted squares arrive. :rotfl:

Sorry, Rikki - I'm only showing off as I taught myself to crochet for Lent :o (instead of giving something up IYSWIM). My aim was to put my new skill to good use, so this blanket idea has come at just the right time :j :T

Twink - you need to join the Happy Hookers :D:p They (and donny-gal) taught me everything I know

i would love to join in - but it's been many years (school i think) since I have knitted. I know I could do a square, but may struggle finishing it off when it's at it's required size!!!

I'll do my best to pick up some needles and find some appropriate coloured wool :D

I am happy to support Help the Aged :D

I also think the min-meet is a really great idea.
