Hi everyone - I'm updating what I should have updated a couple of days ago but I've been busy re-installing things on my computer that I lost when it crashed last week!

Craftlady - I haven't been able to find a 'tea monkey' pattern but I'll keep looking!

The first figures are for the STC (Save the Children) hats and the second is for the (IS) Innocent Smoothie hats for Sainsbury's campaign for which the closing date is 17th October!

Craftlady - I've had a good look for the 'tea monkey' pattern and it looks like it has been removed from all the sites it was posted on. The same thing happened with a Dalek pattern; the BBC or some other body connected with it ordered it to be removed for copywrite reasons. The only one I could find is here http://www.mavis-crafts.com/Patterns/monkey.php but it is very expensive. £9.99 just for the leaflet. Talk about cashing in on something, eh?

I found this http://www.eveshamdallimores.fsnet.co.uk/knitting.htm but it's not a very clear picture.

Maybe someone else can come up with something on here?

ive got 5 'boobs' completed now and knitted 3 more over the weekend that just need the nipples adding and sewing up. I couldnt put the nipples on as i was knitting in public and didnt want to make it obvoius what they were so every time i got to the colour change bit i just left them on the needle broke off the wool and started another one. I was at the boys trampoling club with lots of children about and in the afternoon minding the choir stand at a very religous seminar with lots of vicars priests etc wandering past so i just smiled nodded and carried on knitted (they were babies bonnets if anyone asked;) )

Mrs Moneypenny - you make me laugh with your story about avoiding the nipples but I can understand why you had to! I'll update the five you have 'nippled' now and also correct Pippa's scarf total.

Here is a link to the ITV digital monkey pattern. My Aunt made it a few years ago and it looks brilliant. This one has the design for the knitted white t-shirt he wears too.
