Ianna - I've just pm'd you with my email address but I am having a problem with the Wooligans site. I had a major computer crash yesterday which my DS1 had the devil of a job fixing for me - now, ever time I get onto the Wooligans site, the internet disconnects. It comes straight back on again but still won't let me access the Wooligans. I shall have to see if my DS1 can fix that bit too!

If anyone on here can pm Ianna with their email address so she can send piccies, I'd be grateful.

Damn and blast these computers; great when they are working, the devil in disguise when they are not!

    Hi everyone!

Jellybeans - thank you so much for posting Ianna's photos onto the Wooligans site! They look great, don't they? I've discovered that I can access Wooligans via Internet Explorer now, thank heavens; I was really starting to panic! I shall go and check it out in a minute.

Pippa - I agree with you about knitting. I used to knit all the time when the children were small and then didn't bother much for a few years, mainly due to work, but I am so glad I am back with it. I still don't have the time to devote to it that I'd like; one of the reasons is that I have an ageing tendency to doze off in the evenings! DH quite often has to rescue my knitting for me!

Mrs Moneypenny - as you say you are on your fifth boob, I shall add the four to your totals when I update a bit later on today!

Ianna - for some reason I can't post photos on here although I shall be asking my DS1 if he can show me how. It's a shame you've been locked out of the Wooligans. Have you tried reapplying?

Well, I shall update a bit later so will catch up with you all then. It looks like being a lovely day here so I hope it's the same for everyone!

Ianna - I hope the invitation to rejoin the Wooligans has worked! I haven't checked yet but will look in a minute.

Pippa - dozing off is one of the reasons my totals don't rise as fast as everyone else's! I find it really annoying because I always think I'll get a lot done if I sit down for a couple of hours and, the next thing I know, I've lost those hours completely! I have so much knitting planned in my head, for charity as well as for presents for people, but, if I keep dozing off, I'll never get them all done in time! I did manage to crochet a little bag last night. Sadly, one of DH's nieces has a disease which is a bit like Motor Neurone disease. She's only three and they have predicted she will not live much past seven years old. We have helped raise money for a special wheelchair that she can operate herself; she really gets around on it and she can raise it to table height, too. It's amazing how quickly she got the hang of the controls. The powers that be said she didn't need it until she was five years old but to see how independent she is with it makes me so angry that they wouldn't provide it to make her short life more bearable. Anyway, her Nanny has put out a call for some buttons because the little girl loves them and, although her arms are already deteriorating, she can pick tiny things up; we are aiming to fill a big tin. I have loads of buttons plus some little gems, some wooden tiles with letters on them and some really tiny baby dolls so I had the idea of making a bag to put them all in. I knitted her a little doll last year and she loved it. I'm really pleased with the bag - I shall take a photo of it and post it onto the Wooligans site. I kept it simple in pink with a cream coloured cord and a little cream flower on it and it only took about half an hour to make (I just dozed off after I'd finished it!).

Well, I'm waffling now! I shall update a little later - I can hear DH moving about upstairs so I'd better get the kettle on!
