    Hello everyone.

I have just logged onto Loving Hands and read this very very upsetting news http://lovinghands.freeforums.org/important-please-read-t503.html

My thoughts and prayers go out to Lou at this terrible time.

The people in the Loving Hands group who know Lou well have decided we must carry on knitting because that is what she would want, but not to post any more items to her until we know more about her condition.

I don't know what else to say at the moment.

    finally im back
kathy i just read the terrible news about lou's accident on the loving hands site, i hope she is back home soon. my prayers are with her and her family

my thoughts on the is hats would be that if we send them direct to sainsburys they will only incur one lot of postage but if we send them to loving hands we will be paying postage and then lou will have to pay again so it would make sense for us to send those direct.

i lost the puter on 10th july as i was supposed to be a 'seamless' merge over from aol to virgin, but it was a load of hassle and im only just back on today.

kathy i sent a parcel off to lou with a note saying i was off line but it may not haver gotten to her before her accient.
my totals are 7 more bags, 3 more teddies and 2 blankets
    SPC~12 ot 124

Such awful news, poor Lou. My thoughts and prayers are with her and her family.
I have a parcel that was due to go this week, but I'll hang on to it now for a while, but I'll carry on knitting the cardigan I'm making.
Another two hats and a teddy for my total please Kathy.

Thanks Mrs Moneypenny and Pol. I will update a bit later on this evening.

Mrs Moneypenny - it may be best to send the hats directly to Sainsbury's to save causing hassle and postage for Loving Hands.

The news is dreadful, isn't it? I can't believe something like that could happen to such a good and caring person. We are all praying that she pulls through. I keep checking the Loving Hands site but the last time I checked I couldn't get into the forums; the page wouldn't load. I think that happens for maintenance reasons - I'll check again.

I'll catch up with you all later.

    Hi M

Not going to have any excuse for not picking those needles up again soon. During the loft sorting today, found a medium size box, which was labelled up WOOL. Have put it to one side for when the alternations are over.

    Hope Lou is doing OK.

Hi Kathy can you update me with 3 IS HATS please.

Just read back and yes I think sending them direct to Sainsbury`s is the best idea very OS with just one postage,as mrs-moneypenny said :D

I also have 1 parcel ready to go and another almost ready, but will hang on to them until we receive more info.

I havent been into the LH site today, so dont know if there is any news on our lovely Lou yet. O I hope she is ok,who would have thought a slip like that could cause the havoc it has, poor poor Lou. Please keep her in your prayers everyone :A

Hi everyone - that glimmer of hope is better than no hope at all, isn't it? Lou has a long way to go, poor poor lady, but what a fighter she seems to be. I know we shall all keep her in our prayers and thoughts.

I agree with Mrs Moneypenny and Pippa that we should send our IS hats straight to the Sainsbury's address as soon as they launch this year's campaign. It will, as you say, save in postage but also save LH from the extra work right now.

Hi Kathy can you update me with another 5 IS HATS please, that takes my total to 20 now.

I went into the LH site last night and Sue has put all the info and updates for Lou on the front page,so it is easier for everybody to find now. Tomorrow is the day they turn off the machine.
So ladies please remember Lou in your prayers tonight.
