HI Pippa - I'll update tomorrow with your latest ted and scarves.
I'm so glad you had a good time with your girls. Mine are only half a mile away from me at the moment and I would hate them to be far away. It must be so hard for you - they're such an important part of your life, aren't they? You are allowed to be upset when leaving them, though, so don't feel you should just 'get used to it'.
My DGD had her ballet school performance yesterday and seeing her in her blue tutu, as part of Hansel and Gretel, made me cry! She looked so gorgeous and so little!

Hello all,
Things have been a bit manic lately - just come back from holiday where I had to write a couple of essays. But I did manage a hat! I'll get a move on with my crochet hook and make some more. I think there is half a jumper somewhere too....

Hi Kathy Thanks yes I thought they looked like cheerful colours for LO`s, the scarves are done in the "bargain" 10 balls for £1 chenille type wool, actually looking at the band its called feather yarn, I just love the colours pink, lilac, pale yellow, white and pale blue rainbow, its easy to knit with, shiny and soft and looks very effective when done.

Hi Pippa - that wool was a real bargain for something so good, wasn't it? The colours are really beautiful. I am still crocheting hats (the never-ending blanket is on hold indefinitely!), knitting a doll's outfit for a birthday present, still need to sew a tassel on my boob for the Pimp my Boob competition on Loving Hands, still have a Mr Bean's Teddy to sew up (which was knitted for a present last Christmas and just got shoved in bag!), crocheting a hat for the Catch a Sailor's Fancy competition and making wedding favours for my DS2's wedding in just over two weeks. Am I going mad? Yes, I am!!

Hello
Can you update me with another 17 hats (77 in total) please? I'm aiming for a century lol and I'm nearly there! I promise I'll get a picture soon, I'm away this week visiting family but when I get back I'll nag OH to get his camera out ... assuming I can find somewhere big enough to put all the hats lol!

Hi Gingernutmeg - your needles must be worn out!! I will add your latest hats when I update tonight. Have you seen on the Loving Hands site that they have taken up the Innocent Smoothie hats as a challenge and, also, little knitted scarves for the new Origins Ginger (how apt for you!) challenge. You just cast on 4 stitches and knit 40 rows - you can use any type of wool and any ply! Sounds right up your street!
Have a great time away but don't forget the photo - I would love to see all your hats!

Hi Ginger - I still haven't updated with your latest 17 hats but I promise I will do it tomorrow! I've had a busy couple of days but I have made a note of them so they won't be forgotten!
