Hi - sorry I haven't updated lately but I've got a poorly computer atm and my internet time is very limited.

Please can you add another 23 hats to my total, so that's 60 in all. I'm aiming for 100 before the campaign begins so hopefully I can hit that target!

    Best wishes to everyone :)

Hi everyone - I meant to pop back and update yesterday but was feeling a bit queasy for most of the day so spent a lot time on the sofa! Anyway, the feeling has gone so I am back up and running again!

    Thanks for the updates.

Gingernutmeg - I assume you're finding time to eat and sleep?! 60 hats is phenomenal; well done.

I managed to get one boob for the Pimp my Boob comp and another preemie hat done yesterday as well as a few more rows on the crochet blanket; I shall try and get a few more hats done - the crochet ones are so quick and easy. If I had been feeling well yesterday, I would have got a few more done but it seemed that everytime I sat down I dozed off! I'll get some more hats done and I want to do some cardies and bootees, too.

    Anyway, off to update.

    Latest Update:

The first figures are for the STC (Save the Children) hats and the second is for the (IS) Innocent Smoothie hats which we can do in readiness for the go ahead of Sainsbury's next campaign.

Hi Kathy dont like to bother you, but I noticed the scarf from yesterday is`nt on my totals ;)
I have done 2 now, and OH has posted them off to Lou for me.

BTW when he went to the post office, the lady behind the counter said, I will take special care of this one, because I can see its going to someone special, I know this address, then she asked him if it was the little hats? No he said it`s 2 teddys and 2 scarves, we sent the hats last time.... and there`s me thinking he take`s no notice of what I am up to

    Hi everyone.

Pippa, I'm so sorry I got your totals wrong. I'll correct that when I update. I am amazed at what an observant DH you have - I'm most impressed! I'm pretty sure mine wouldn't remember anything I've knitted; well, maybe the breast I have done for the competition will register with him! It now has a gold tassle on the nipple and takes pride of place on the fireplace! I'll post it on Monday. I have also done three more hats but one will be for the Innocent Smoothie campaign because I mistakenly started making it before realising that it was in 4-ply - I carried on rather than unpick it and it's the right size for the Smoothie bottles!

Chalky - welcome to you, good to hear from you. I am amazed at your totals! Good Lord but you've got through miles of wool as well as mile of road! I love the fact that the Teddy pattern is making it's way round the UK!

Anyway, off to update - our running totals have a real boost now! Many thanks.

Hi Lainey - good to hear from you and good luck with the course. It sounds really exciting and you'll be brilliant at it. Please keep us up to date with how it goes! Don't worry about the knitting - you've done a fantastic job with the blankets; I don't know what we would have done without you!
