I have just deleted a post that I typed earlier and thought I'd lost so there were two about the same things! I didn't want anyone to fall asleep reading them both!

Hello everyone. Pippa - thanks for the welcome back - I did have a good time!
I've put the crochet blanket on hold and started a premmie hat tonight. I also have half a pram star done so I really should get that done, too. I lost one of the needles that I was using for the pram star and have only just found it under the sofa; they are really short needles - I don't like using long ones if I can help it and I was lost without it!
My Mum told she has been knitting with wooden needles and they have made such a difference in terms of comfort. Her hands were aching a lot with the steel ones; she said she's going to try and replace all the ones she uses the most. I think I'll treat myself to a pair and see how I get on with them.
Anyway, off to update - from now on I'll just update at the end of the day, not as late as this, though! I've had a few phone calls so that's why I'm late on here!
Latest Update:
The first figures are for the STC (Save the Children) hats and the second is for the (IS) Innocent Smoothie hats which we can do in readiness for the go ahead of Sainsbury's next campaign.

Hi all - thanks for the updates. I have made a note of them all and will update this evening.
I have made two more hats and started on a boob for the Pimp my Boob competition! I have done a few more rows to the crochet blanket and a bit of knitting on a doll's outfit for a Christmas present. I still have a pram star to finish so will do that this evening. I definitely have too much on the go and I've found two Amigurumi patterns online that I want to try, too; they'll also be Christmas presents!
Will call back later.

Hi Kathy
Can you update my total to 11 premmie hats and 3 scarves now. I also have 2 cat blankets and a baby cardigan that were knitted by two other people and passed on to me, so I can't take the credit, but will be putting them in with my first parcel to loving hands. I'm sure I read on one of the knitting threads that loving hands support animal charities as well? My MIL always used to knit and sew for cats protection, hence the blankets, all her stuff wool, patchwork material etc got passed on to me when she died, so it would be lovely if the blankets she did could go to an animal charity
When I get to 12 premmie hats (all first size so far) I'm going to switch to knitting a blanket then 12 in the next size etc. All the wool from the new online wool shop turned up bar one colour but at £5.10 plus vat for 20 x 50g balls of sirdar frenzy wool I'm not complaining. It'll make some lovely scarves for the teen girls in the family with matching hats if I get my finger out, add a pigsback voucher for dorothy P and I have some cheap homemade gifts. Hope everyone is good and getting as much knitting done as they'd like

Hi everyone - I forgot to update yesterday, I'm afraid, so will do so in a minute.
Herbaholic - yes, Loving Hands do distribute to anicmal charities as well! You have been busy, haven't you? Well done!
I have just finished a boob for the Pimp my Boob comp and just have to figure out how to embellish it! I must say it looks very realistic; it's such a good pattern! I shall show it to DS2 (aged 26) who is popping round after work this evening. I'm just going to sit it on the kitchen table and see if he says anything! He'll think I've finally lost the plot!
I will do a bit more to the never-looks-like-getting-finished crochet blanket this afternoon and I still haven't sewn up Mr Bean's Teddy - I'm sure I'll get him done in time for this Christmas!
Anyway, off to update!

Hi there - me again! I'd be grateful if everyone could check that I have their correct individual totals every so often and let me know if (when!) get them wrong!
Thanks
