:hello:
Hello everybody,
Where are you all, its very quiet in here today
Kathy can you update me with 3 STC Hats please, that makes 14 now.
I will send them off to Lou tomorrow, and post a pic of them on the Wooligans site.
Just been looking at my sig, I think I`ll slim it down a bit as we have finished the blankets, and might need more space when we have another challenge...any thoughts yet?
Just heard my DIL`s niece is expecting a baby, a little boy, and she asked if I would do a couple of matinee coats for her so thats my next project. I`ll do a blanket as well, I quite like knitting them.

Hi Anne - will update this evening just in case anyone else has things to add. It's a shame we've had to shrink our sigs; I understand why but, with a group like ours, the four lines is not enough, is it? Congratulations on your DIL's niece's good news.
To everyone else - Pippa has asked what our next challenge should be so I'm throwing it open to you all for suggestions! It's a bit greedy of me making the decisions so - all suggestions welcome, please!
Will catch up later.

Mioliere - I've another four hats to add to the total. Sorry, no suggestions as to the challenge, but I look forward to hearing everyone elses ideas.
Just been looking at the "gang of teds" and fancy having a go at a couple of those now, they look so cute. I've still not parted with the burundi bear I made ages ago, but going to send him with the hats when I've done some more.
Lainey, those blankets are brilliant! You couldn't have chosen the colours any better, they just go together so well.

congratulations to your Dil's niece Pippa:T .
Kathy i really dont mind what we do as a challenge next. How about hanging on to see what loving hands lou set for her challenges next week and seeing which one of those appeals to us so we can help to 'hammer' the targets on there.
I'm going to try and get my god daughter teddy sewn up over the weekend and get a blanket finished before i start on something else.SPC~12 ot 124

Thanks Kathy and mrs-moneypenny she will be so pleased when I pass on your congrats:D
The challenge..........I have no idea what to suggest, I think your idea is a good one mrs-m, we should know quite soon what`s in the pipeline over on Loving Hands.
BTW did either of you go into general chat in the last few days? The idea was........to do 42" white 4ply jumpers:eek:   perish the thought. Methinks Lou was pulling our leg`s:rolleyes: :rotfl:

Hi all - just catching up in between getting DH organised for his working trip to France tomorrow (and me getting some desperately needed peace and quiet!)
Thanks for the updates, Pippa and Pol - will add them to the running totals in a minute.
Mrs Moneypenny - I think your idea of waiting to see Lou's latest challenge is a really good one; if we join it then the targets will soon be met, won't they, as long as they DON'T include 42" jumpers in 3 or 4ply. Can you imagine how long they would take and how tedious they would be to knit - we'd all be dozing off!
Anyway, off to update.
Latest Update:
The first figures are for the STC (Save the Children) hats and the second is for the (IS) Innocent Smoothie hats which we can do in readiness for the go ahead of Sainsbury's next campaign.
