    Hi

Sorry not been around much, been up to my eyeballs in moving and packing. Just over two weeks. I am having panic attacks and not feeling very supported. We were quoted for 2500 sq feet, yet we have 2700 sq feet of stuff so having to whittle.

Not done any cleaning as the place is stacked with half filled boxes - will do a blitz on moving day once the stuff has gone.

Not spent much on food as using up the freezer. I am going to have to be very careful refilling it in the next place as money will be tighter.

    Breakfast
Pineapple and Cranb juice. Weetabix, Vanilla tea

    Lunch
Cheese, blueberry muffin, vanilla ice cream, plain Pringles - resisting eating the whole tube, they are so addictive. Nice cofffee

    Dinner
HM sliced tatties, corn, BBQ yellow pepper and carrot bake topped with cheese and sesame seeds, the spuds are soaked in white wine to keep them moist.
Banoffi pie from the freezer defrosting

    Oh....... grumphhh ihhfeavstv ..........FLIP!!!!!!!

Just tried to empty the washing machine, but it hadn't spun properlly. The washing's still soaking wet . That's so ironic 'cos the new tumble drier is arriving tomorrow. :(

There's a chance I've overloaded the machine :o so I've put it on again. I'll be back in about 90 minutes when the programmes over.

*stomps off on a hunt for chocolate*.

Can't you just put it on the spin cycle?

    Morning all,

Wet, grotty and horrible here, but I don't care I'm going to Ikea:j

Redruby - good luck for your mum this morning.

Moliere, thanks, looking forward to seeing those pictures.

    Churchmouse

    Smokey thoughts are with you.

Edited to add: Martyn, good advice from Redruby, take yourself out for the day, Somewhere wild and natural its amazing how much your spirits can be lifted once you get back to nature.

TD has been on this am. Dinner tonight is a complete mystery at the moment. Would like to do a roast but it will be late by the time I get back. Will probably end up making something quick and easy or even  a takeaway:eek: Depends how knackered i am after a whole day shopping:D

Hugs and best wishes to all. Hope you all have a good day.

    Wanna
Which Ikea do you goto? We are moving down south and don't know where they are.

We have one in Edinburgh which is nice and been stocking up.

Ah, well, erm...yes and no. In their wisdom the machines manufacturers put a really slow RPM on the spin only cycle. It spins twice as fast if you put it on a 40 deg #3 wash . Flippin' barmey I know.

On the good news front it seems to spinning ok at the moment during the wash cycle. Probably me being a cheapskate and overloading the machine in the first place. What a numpty! :o

ETA: Well it's now a couple of hours later and the WM is fine. It was me :o:o. Note to self - don't abuse the washing machine. It is your friend and you'd be lost without it. :)

You cannot live as I have lived an not end up like me.

Oi you lot - please :heart:GIVE BLOOD  - you never know when you and yours might need it back! 67 pints so far.

    Afternoon All
TFI Friday, Katy locked herself in the class room, the fire alarm went off, chaos ensued.
Isn't it good news that they found Shannon Matthews alive & only a mile from home.
Have a good evening one & all.
    Hugs Hester

Big hug and nice to see you.

Apart from the danger of a sudden addiction to microfibre cloths and vinegar you should be quite safe here.

Have just been hangng out more washing and about to make home made burgers for DD when DH said she might be out at a friends tonight for tea.

Will probably make them anyway as it is a while since we have had them.

Going to pick up DD(19) from uni at Newcastle tomorrow so might put pea and ham soup in the slow cooker before we leave. If I soak the dried peas overnight and also soak the veg then I can just throw everything together in the morning.
OMG how spooky I have just made split pea and added gammon pieces, I call it peas pudding an old northern dish, Enjoy, ps We love it cold on toast
