oi missus - get in line

I'm at w*rk having lunch - the macaroni cheese that dd11's friend rejected last night - it was so painful watching her disect every single bit of pasta for fear of anything remotely resembling a vegetable that I gave up and made her a sandwich.

hugs to all - will catch up later

    Me again!
Been to Docs. Given me another weeks worth of steroids, and another two weeks off. Took my cert into work, everyone dressed up for Book Day today, felt I'd missed out! Head saw me and totally ignored me (Old trout!) :rotfl: Still, can't be helped, just have to ride it till it's done.:o
Martyn you stay on here and get the support you need. People are wonderful here, I've needed it recently, as I lost my Mamma in January. Loads of love and emails my way, you'll get the same, don't be afriad to talk to us all. (((((((((HUGS))))))))))

Have a good day, what's left of it!:T

Hi all, I have just stumbled across this thread, I was a bit worried about joining in, I feel like I am eavesdropping (can't think of the word for nosey reading) a bit like going through someones diary. I have been sorting out some of my late MiL's stuff, not very nice, bit sad. So thought I would have a break. You all seem lovely people here. I sometimes post on the grab it board but after having been shot down in flames, sneered at, and critisised at times I'm a bit reluctant to post again, but feel quite secure here. Well folks enough of my ramblings, will end now before you all loose the will to live. Sorry if I have bored you all. Cheers Beth

    H beth

Big hug and nice to see you.

Apart from the danger of a sudden addiction to microfibre cloths and vinegar you should be quite safe here.

Have just been hangng out more washing and about to make home made burgers for DD when DH said she might be out at a friends tonight for tea.

Will probably make them anyway as it is a while since we have had them.

Going to pick up DD(19) from uni at Newcastle tomorrow so might put pea and ham soup in the slow cooker before we leave. If I soak the dried peas overnight and also soak the veg then I can just throw everything together in the morning.

    Oh....... grumphhh ihhfeavstv ..........FLIP!!!!!!!

Just tried to empty the washing machine, but it hadn't spun properlly. The washing's still soaking wet . That's so ironic 'cos the new tumble drier is arriving tomorrow. :(

There's a chance I've overloaded the machine :o so I've put it on again. I'll be back in about 90 minutes when the programmes over.
