Evening all,
Spent half my day running around getting stuff for DD2 to renew DGD1's passport and apply for DGD3's first one...bit nuts this thing of a 3 year passport for small babies, could be anyone, but I suppose the fact that it has to be certified that the picture is of the same baby in presence of a Garda (police officer) means that it is as tightly controlled as possible. They are both gone in post now and should be back within 10 working days...with 2 long weekends here one after the other it will be more than 2 weeks.
Welcome to newbies
Bentosboy...you can moan and whinge here all you like, sounds as if its what you need to do at the moment, but try to take the advice of doing something new everyday, to gently force you back to doing things for yourself again...you will be fine with the help of all here!
Looks as if the mini meet was a good day out...would love to participate at some stage, especially if the squares idea takes off which I feel it will...might even be able to make one in Oz...will be in Brisbane 24th May-4th June, Beechworth June 19th-22nd, Melbourne 22nd-25th and Adelaide 29thJune- 1st July....so if those dates suit anyone I can easily dump OH for the day!
Hugs to all those not feeling wonderful to-day for whatever reason...special hugs to you Smoky, hope that there has been some positive moves in relation to OH's health and that you are finding help where you need it most.
Have a good evening all,

woo hoo friday - stressfulish day at w*rk as we are moving upstairs. This is our second move in 6 months - we told the powers that be that there wouldn't be enough space for us all last time and they didn't listen so we got a health and safety asessment and our section has been "condemned" - fancy trying to squish half a dozen built for comfort grannys into a space fit only for about four lithe and skinny youngsters.
Having made laborious childcare arrangements for dbro and his gf visiting tomorrow - they have changed their plans and can't come - don't want to waste the childcare though so might go to bingo tomorrow night - I know how to live
We've had a proper its-friday-yay-lets-not-cook tea - fish finger sandwiches. dd11 has her jammies on and is snuggled up in a duvet watching sport releif thingy - bliss. Will try to clear the decks later as I have a lot of gardening and diy stuff to do this weekend - have a great rest of the dayI'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -

Evening all. (((Hugs))) to KYLE'S DS - hope his fingers don't hurt too much.
REDRUBY - I'm so glad your Mum's lump was nothing to worry about. You're a lovely daughter, aren't you?
Re: squares. If all those of you who want to contribute a square(s) would like to pm me with their email address, I will email my home address back to you. Don't forget - there's no tearing hurry for this to be done so I don't want anyone feeling under pressure to get it done asap. I'm thinking it could be finished at the end of the summer. If anyone wants to add their forum name to their square, please feel free; any shade of red, orange, rust, russet, ginger - well, you know, anything along those lines. 8" x 8", crochet or knitted, patterned or plain, any stitch - just let your imaginations run away with you! If I can get the hang of photobucket, I will try and post a picture of the squares as they come in! It would be great if a meet could be arranged, even, as has been said, a regional meet. Anyway, it would be fantastic to pull this off, wouldn't it? And to do it every year!
Anyway, I'm cream-crackered. I've just had an early bath and am about to get horizontal on the sofa with a glass of Vino Collapsio! Have a great evening.

I don't blame you, I am having one (or two) myself. Just don't depress yourself by measuring 125ml which is supposed to be a glassful :rotfl:You're only young once, but you can be immature forever

Hello,
Didn't post last night cos we went out and I had a few
and you know me I hate to write dribble.
Meeting up with DD this morning at the shopping centre so I have to get ready soon and then she's coming back and staying the night. She's picking me up from the ferry so no fear of me catching the wrong buses.
Have a good night's sleep everyone. ByeeeeeeeeeeeeeeDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.
