Good luck for Redruby's mum
(((((Hugs))))) for smoky and your family
Benthosboy - we all have down periods in our lives, but there are always "virtual friends" to boost you up again. (((((Hugs)))))) for you, too.
Hester - I'd pay to come and hear you speak!
After my great day out yesterday, I have a short list for today to get ready for the weekend. It's looking lovely out, so I'm going for a run, then some time in the garden later.
Enjoy your day, Penny. x:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
Martyn,
Please do not appologise for feeling down, you are going through such a huge upheaval at the moment, you will have up and down days its natural. Not sleeping is a b****r I used to suffer from it a lot, I got some t-bags from sainsbugs, called sleepytime, which work wonders for me, knock me out, alternativly could you see your GP, and ask for some help ?
I want you to do ME a favour today, in fact you have no choice you must do it, take yourself out somewhere, anywhere, just something you don't normally do, local cafe, feeding the ducks in the park, walk along the beach, buy yourself something, have a drink in the pub, go for a walk, just anything that you wouls not normally do, just to get yourself out of the usual routine, it works wonders and will hopefully pick you up a bit, you MUST come back later and let me know what you have done, and it had better be good, hugs to you xxx0 -
Benthosboy, please keep posting if only to keep you sane! I find posting and reading this site helps me, I have had some good advice from all my virtual friends. They are so kind and caring and I feel that they really do care. If the only place you can find solace is here that here it is you will come.
Don't go, we need more men on this thread!! (Sorry N9eave!!)

Martyn - please don't feel bad for posting on here when you feel down ... we're all here to support each other so (((HUGS))) for you. You're bound to feel low .. it shows you're human .. and from an outsiders point of view things can only get better now even though their may be hiccups along the way. It may seem impossible at the mo but experience tells me that you will slowly start to enjoy being single again and discovering what your likes/dislikes are. It helped me (immensley) reading a self-help book by Paul Mckenna and then setting myself goals to work towards. I'd lost all confidence, couldn't stop crying and was at an all time low but day by day I've started to pick myself up and dust myself off and am now 100 times better than this time last year. I know it may seem that there's no light at the end of the tunnel but I think that's cos ur just turning a corner. Please keep posting on here daily ... we're all here for you and feel free to PM me any time xxJUST DO IT ONE BRICK AT A TIMEPROUD TO BE DEALING WITH MY DEBTSWeekly Budget: groceries£50/petrol£50/Unnecesary£15DEBT PAID = 58% (£4,212/£8216):T0

Benthosboy. Martyn we're a supportive community on here so lean on us if you need to.
We have broad shoulders (some of us broader than others
) so if writing down your troubles helps even in the smallest way then get typing mister!
PS. Have you seen your GP yet? He might be able to recommend some sort of talking therapy.
You cannot live as I have lived an not end up like me.

Martyn - please, please, please don't keep apologising; I'm so glad you feel you can tell us how you feel. We DO NOT mind, I can promise you that. I reiterate what REDRUBY has said - go for a long walk, even if it's pouring with rain. You're going through a truly miserable stage in your life but it is only one stage - at nearly 44 years old you have years and years of happiness to find and life to be lived. I think nearly all of us on here have needed a shoulder to cry on at some time or another; I've found the support invaluable. I've also had such a laugh at some of the posts - on a bad day, they can be truly uplifting. Another thing, a lot of people find it helps enormously to write down how they feel, which is what you've been doing - it can be very therapeutic and can help you sort things out in your mind. So please keep posting and please don't think you're being a pain. It will all work out right in the end.

I seem to be saying this a lot these days but I mean it when I say thank you. Your support means a hell of a lot to me.
Unfortunately, to add to my problems, all your replies have started me sobbing again.

I have been a member for longer than most people on here and I'm stating that it's perfectly fine for people to air their problems and and if anyone disagrees then they can DEAL WITH ME
Smoky
Much drama here this week, I really can't be bothered to type it all out  I'm sure people think 'oh I'm peed off - I'll go to tru's, dump all my crap on her. I'll walk away feeling better and she'll feel rubbish but that's OK, as long as I'm fine. Tommorow, I'll ring her and demand a solution to my problem - which I created and I'm the only one who can sort it out but I can't be bothered' I'm actually thinking of changing my phone number.

Morning All
Not feeling too good today. Was sick this morning, probably caused by all this coughing I'm doing. Think I'll go home early today, so ploughing through my work so it's all done before I leave. I have a temperature too, so I really don't think work can argue that much.
I might be doing some voice over work for some American stations, which would be fabulous. No money attached, but great for the CV and getting me known Stateside, where I desperately want to move.
Got most of my daily clicks done, just working my way through some surveys now.
Having the whole weekend off to allow myself to recover ready to return to work full strength.
Hope everyone's okComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0
