Hello All
Can I join you? I joined WW on Thursday and was shocked, appalled and wanted to cry when I found i weighed 16s12.5 Iam a dress size 18 and 5f 8 but only thought i weighed about 15st - how wrong.
My first weigh in will be Thursday, i go to a lunch time weigh in.
I did ww a couple of years back and lost 2st but it went to pot after my ds2 was born. I remember doing no count last time so I am trying to adjust to the points system but i feel hungry most of the time lol
Drinking plently of water, brushing my teeth often to stop snacking and sitting on my hands.
So far today I have had (points allowance of 22)
B: 3 weetabix 1/4 skimmed milk = 3.5 points
S: apple = 0.5p
L 2 ham salad sandwiches on ww bread = 4p
not figured out what were on for tea.
I'd be very happy if people can share low point family meal recipes that I could make? as well as any other hints and tips. i need all the back up I can get as i really struggle motivational wise0 -
Diary for the day...
B: Rice crispies with SS Milk 2.5
L: Spaghetti on toast 5
S: Golden Light crisps 1.5WW Chicken Tikka Masala with some chips 8
So thats a total of 17 points, meaning I have 4 left. Off out to pub now so Im allowed 2 small glasses of wine, OR I can be good and drink diet coke all night (WHY have I only just discovered this is point FREE?! I havent had a fizzy drink in ages!!!) and have points left overGreen and White Barmy Army!0 -
Ok - so whats ur best tip????
I think mine is planning, if you can plan a few meals for brekkie lunch and dinner and KNOW the poibts of them you know where ur at.
None of that 'what should i have for dinner' business.
Keeps you well on track.
Oh and write EVERYthing down!!!
Any other good tips?

Well I am a true hardcore binger unfortunatly (omg how embarresed am I that I just admitted that) ... so I have 2 things that help me:
1) after W.I I have whatever I want eg on tuesday there I had baked cammembert cheese between me & Oh, then a big steak dinner & then a GU chocolate dessert which was a chocolate souffle made with dark choc in a ramekin and was about 187 points:D and if that wasnt enough I had crisps and dips lol. then and this is a big must for me, before i went to bed I cleared away all "bad foods", so in the morning it was "out of sight out of mind".
2) I am a big planner with ww, I work 3 days on (12 hour shifts) then 3 days off, so for my first 2 days "in" I plan so im all organized, get all the cooking done and pack my lunch bag. then on my 3rd day (bearing in mind in usually half dead with tiredness by this point!) I point as I go along, making consious (sp) desicions so that I am not obsessed with planning.
Sorry for that, probs didnt help anyone:rotfl: just thought i'd share my take on things:D0 -
My tip is track everything that passes your lips
. I use the online tracker every day.
My food diary for today is:
B. 2 x Wholemeal toast 2.5, Clover 1.5, Jam 1
L. Cajun Chicken Panini and Salad 5.5, Tyrells Cider Vinegar & Sea Salt Crisps 3
D. Cider Pork Hotpot (made in the slow cooker and absolutely yummy) 5, Healthy Living Garlic Bread 2, Activia raspberry layer yoghurt 2
S. Digestive Biscuit 1
Exercise: 20 mins brisk walking/ jogging and 20 mins swimming. Might go on the Wii fit a bit later aswell.
Hope everyone has had a good day xOct GC: £144.07/£2000 -
omg! just read my previous message there! sounds like I am ranting! I am on the (unpointed) wine:D! and wait til you see me moaning on tuesday when I've not lost anything!0

kr15snw that stew sounds so yummy! Do you think it would work if I used veggie stock instead of beef stock? Thinking I might try that next week!
Whilst we're chatting about tips, my top tip (and the one that's kept me going so long IMO) is to set lots of small, achievable goals rather then 1 or 2 more difficult ones. It can be so discouraging to fail a goal, so I don't see any point in setting yourself up for failure, and when you reach a goal it gives you an extra boost to go for the next one! I currently have 4:- Get my 8th silver 7 next Tuesday (I have 1.5lb to go for this one!)
- Be in the 11's by 1st March 2009
- 11st 7lb by April 2nd - my birthday
- 11st exactly (or less) by 15th May 2009 - friend's wedding

Aww, well enjoy it but don't go too crazy, you'll regret it tomorrow (and I'm not just talking about the hangover lol!) I'm guessing if you're anything like me, your totm is the most difficult time to diet - I just want to consume everything in sight! xxx
