  • Hello everyone. First meeting for me tonight. On the plus I weigh less than I thought! It was quite motivating actually and I'm all fired up for my first week.

Good to hear you are fired up and ready to go. I need to loose another half pound to reach goal, my weigh day is tomorrow night so keeping everything crossed!

Well I stayed the same this week - a little dissapointed, but I wasn't a saint so can only do better next week!

Had an awful experience in a changing room in matalan last night - I am bigger than I have ever been none of my work suits fit me so I had to go and get some more, none of them fitted properly - too long, to tight, because I'm VERY hour glass shaped, if I get trousers to fit in the bum and hips they are HUGE on the waist, jackets either didn't do up or were too long in the sleve or gaped around the chest, tried on 2 beautiful short sleved shirts that fitted everywhere else but were too tight on my huge upper arms.....

I could have cried it was so awfull, I can't believe I have let myself get like this...

Anyone tried the kick start or anything that can give me a boost?

Feelling very low about it all today.....

Hi I haven't posted on here for a while. Hope you don't mind me joining in.
Went to WW this morning and I had managed to loose l.5 lbs this week, which I was'nt expecting. I have lost 33 lbs since joining in January, which I suppose is not a lot, but I am taking it slow and not cutting everything that I like out, but trying to cut down. I hope to loose 3 st for Christmas and hopefully keep it off.

I have been to WW a couple of times before, given up and put back what I have lost and more besides, so this time I am determined not to stop going.
    So fingers crossed everyone.
  • Wow Pamela, 33 lb is amazing. Well done you! That has inspired me.

Hot.chick, I know exactly how you feel. It is so demoralising to try on loads of stuff that diesn't fit, but at least now we can think 'at least I'm doing something about it'. I haven't tried kick start as to be honest my diet has been so crap up until now I think just following plan should be a kick start for my body. If I find I plateau later on I might give it a go though.

I'm doing Core at the moment, and finding it quite nice not to be totally obsessed with points. I'm finding myself eating some slightly bizarre food combos, but it's really not too much of a struggle. Full of cold though so not able to do as much exercise as I would usually. Hope that doesn't affect my weightloss.

Is you, did you lose your half a pound?
