Hi everyone. I'm also on WW and need a bit of a push. Been an unusual week so not been able to keep to a routine and lost track. Not expecting good news at my weigh in on Tuesday.
Did WW a few years ago and lost 25lbs and hoping to do the same again. It was my own stupid fault for putting it back on.OD Girls On TourBarcelona 2008 - Dublin 20090 -
OK - so now we have a few people back on the board - how should we play it?
General chit chat about weigh ins and challenges like nights out, family meals, how we plan and cope with these?
Or do we want to try and do daily updates with daily menues and points used etc.....???
Would really like to get this thread moving again?

I think general chit chat would be good. One thing I have found to be a life saver when you get those cravings is sugar free jelly (rowntrees), I make them up in small tubs (the ones you get with the frozen WW puds) and have a fridge full. They are 0 points and are great.0

Can I join too please? I'm restarting meetings on Wednesday (not very MSE I know but I can only stick to it when I do meetings). I lost two stone a few years ago but it has crept back on. I'm hoping to lose two stone by Christmas, as I usually find I lose quite a but in the first couple of weeks so it should be doable. I think just general chat and advice would be great.
Is You- the jelly tip is a fab one. I think I'll grab some tomorrow. It's nice with fruit added too- tinned mandarin are good and still count as Core. My other tip is no point soup. I'm just making some butternut squash soup at the moment. I find a bowl of that as a starter helps me eat less. It's also a good way to cut back if you over-do it at the weekend.
Good luck to everyone- I'll definitely be popping by most days!

Excellent tip on the sugar free jelly and 0 point soup.
Keep em coming!
How has everyone been over the weekend? Been good?)

I was good yesterday, which was my first day back from holiday. Also been good today- I'm doing Core which is where certain 'healthy' foods are free at mealtimes and you can only have fruit and veg between meals.
Went to gym after work and managed 5k on treadmill. Just having a healthy tea of veggie chilli, jacket potato and cottage cheese. Sounds gross but is lush.
Trying to rack my brains for more tips- for me personally I need to drink more water. I also find that cutting right down on bread helps my weightloss, but I know other people who say the same about rice or bananas, so I guess it's down to the individual.
How's everyone else doing?

Hiya im new to this forum and just restarted weightwatchers so thought i'd say hello!!
I joined ww in 2005 at a starting weight of 12st 10 managed to get down to 10st 13 at my lowest.
Got married last July at 11st 5 ish and manged to get back up to 13st 11 1/2 last night when i finally rejoined
i have been v depressed about my weight for a while and almost felt ashamed to go back i feel family are talking about how much ive put on...
But im back now and feel so much better like a cloud has lifted over my head woohoo!!
my top tip is to search weightwatchers forum for points for going out / supermarket meals etc - saves you having to buy the books.
my mantra before was point it, eat it, write it down, drink some water, point it eat it.......etc
ooh sorry this has turned into a long post

lol... feels more like a bad year though (eating wise!).
I married my wonderfull husband this year and all of our parents live abroad, so we've been on holiday after holiday, off to Oz to see my mum in Dec.
So in total it'll 7 holidays this year - and I wonder why I've put on weight!!!
So - finding my zone!
speaking to a personal trainer tomorrow - might try and have one session a week with her, she's beautiful and thin (we used to go to school together) so I've got a lot to prove so to speak!
Am determined to stay strong - and have had a word with hubby because although he adores me and wants to spoil me all of the time, wine and chocs does nothing for my diet aspirations, so he's under strict instructions to help me!
