Well I have been for weigh in this morning and have lost 2lb this week :j . I was quite pleased with this as I went out for a meal with OH on friday. We went for a chinese and I didn't really know what was healthy or wasn't and then went to the cinema (where I had to have pick n mix :o ) but I did save points the day before and the day after so I doubt I actually went over.

Must stay motivated now for the next week. Thought about buying one of the cookbooks for recipe ideas and inspiration but moneysaving took over so I opted against it. Will keep an eye out at the car boot on sunday mornings instead :D

    Hope everyone is being good!
Chinese is the best take away you can have when on weightwatchers, as long as you stay clear of the fried rice and crispy duck!!! Well done on the 2lbs that is the maximum you should be losing every week to maintain a healthy loss. just think 2lbs a week is 8lbs a month which in a year is (counting on fingers!!) 96lbs!!!!

My daughter & I want to start going to WW.

I've looked online but I can't find any "new member" offers.

I thought there was always something:confused:

Thinking about doing the monthly DD, is this cheaper?

If I do the DD way, I suspose I pay a month upfront & then they take the next one from my bank?

Thats what it sounded like on the website, anyway.

Can I rush you girls for an answer, the meeting is tonight;)

    Thank you.

    Hiya,
Not wanting to start a which-diet-is-better war but I'd wholly recommend Slimming World - and they have an online option too :)

Hi love i can say that weightwatchers definately works.
I was overweight from being a teenager until four years ago when i decided enough was enough.
I went to a local meeting and was horrified to find that i needed to lose 6 stones!!!!
Well i kept on going and i found it was the best thing i had ever done, i always said that if someone would just tell me what to eat i could lose the weight!
This did it told me basically if you eat this many points a day you will lose weight, if you eat more you won't!!
    And it worked!!!!!
I started off wearing a size 20 and a year later walkked down the aisle in a size 10 wedding dress!!!!!
So if there is any way you can attend the meetings please do so as the help and support they offer is invaluable, people who attend the meetings are much more likely to get the weight off.
With regards to the kids if they can be well behaved the leader may let you take them with you.
If not do try the on-line one, why not see if a friend will do it with you and then youcan support each other. Good Luck and if you have any questions pm as you can imagine i am a bit of an expert!!!
