So need to get back into this, have pretty much put back on the few pounds I lost because I was ill. Very hard at the end of term though, too many people buy us teachers chocolates!

    Hi,
I am thinking about joining WW but am unsure. I am a 24 yr old male and need to loose a few stone. My girlfriend suggested WW as she knows I have a major hang up about my weight. I'm thinking about going but I think I'd feel embarrassed if I was there. Can anyone tell me what it is like and if there are many people my age?
    Cheers

Just got back from weigh-in. Lost a 1 lb this week. Just need to lose at least 1 next week and will be back on track.

I'm o.k. during the day it's just at night when I struggle especially if we go out for a drink and then I tend to eat rubbish. So far today I have had a yogurt for breakfast and sardines on wholemeal toast for lunch. Not sure about tea yet but probably beans on toast or soup.

    Cheers everyone and good luck.

just go, the hardest part is walking through the door, dont forget everyone has their first day at some point and everyone feels the same as you, its not as bad as you think and no one else sees the weigh in result apart from you and the leader as it is kept a discreet enough distance from those who are queeing

Doing OK, hardest bit is the baking I do for my childrens lunch boxes! Have lost a stone though so I am happy, have had lots of good comments about the way I look and have had to buy a size smaller too!

    Hi all

I hope you don't mind if I join this thread. I rejoined Weightwatchers 2 weeks ago and have lost 7lb in the past 2 weeks. Was a gold member 11 years (ish) ago and have since put some of the weight back on:eek: .

I suppose I must confess that I also worked as a weightwatchers leader for around 10 years following getting to goal, had to give it up becaiuse it didn't fit in with my full time job. .

I really want to lose some weight before my holiday (4 weeks to go).

Hope this is OK, although I would understand if you didn't want an ex 'leader' joining in.
