Hi everyone
I am going to join weightwatchers tonight... my friend started it a couple of weeks ago and it seems great.
Especially all the weight watchers foods that are in the supermarket now that tell you all the points value etc...easy for a beginner! ( Hope i'm not left hungry though! ).
I have done slimming world before and was quite good but when i started it the second and the third time lol! i was struggling with it...
So i will start weight watchers anew and try my best.
Great thread :-)

Hi michmop
Hope your weigh went OK yesterday. I know exactly what you mean about it being harder to lose weight the 2nd/3rd time you join. For me the very first time I joined, i made all the major changes, changed to diet coke instead of proper coke, changed to low fat marg instead of butter etc, Those habit changes are the things that you don't really lose, even when you are not really following the diet, so the next time you join, you have fewer things to change. (am I making sense:rotfl: ).
Anyway... the moral of the story is stick with it, If you have lost weight before, you can do it again.
Good luck

This may be a bit of a daft question but, say you cook a one-pot meal with chicken fillets and rice in it, like this one..... http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/4...i-chicken-rice
I made it last night and although i can work out the points per dish, how would you work out the points per portion. I understand that if it is meant to be a meal for 4, then you can divide the points by 4 but this is assuming that each portion has the same amount of chicken in it.
I am looking at this too deeply? should i just guess how much i have had and estimate the points?
any advice would be greatly appreciated!
