i would also recommend that people take their measuments when they start too, can be agood boost if you have not lost weight, but lost inches at times
for instance, since i started i have lost over 6.5 inches off my waist alone!, 6 and a half on my hips, 3 inches of each thigh,4.5 inches from under my bust etcMFW#105 - 2015 Overpaid £8095 / 2016 Overpaid £6983.24 / 2017 Overpaid £3583.12 / 2018 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2019 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2020 Overpaid £2583.12/ 2021 overpaid £1506.82 /2022 Overpaid £2975.28 / 2023 Overpaid £2677.30 / 2024 Overpaid £2173.61 Total OP since mortgage started in 2015 = £37,286.86 2025 MFW target £1700, payments to date at April 2025 - £1712.07..0 -
Anna thats an amazing amount of inches, would you mind me asking how many lbs you had to lose to get those measurements.
Just had my first walk in years - with my new 'fit flops' - took me 24 mins to walk just over a mile - see I am the most unfit person in the world.
Has anyone else had the shock of their lives when they looked at WW success stories and thought the before picture was of someone quite overweight and loads to lose only to find they were the same weight as you are now - I think I had reverse anoxeria - looked in the mirror and saw someone thiner than reality!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh man - a big mountain to climb (and I am stopping smoking in two cigs)

I am doing WW online from yesterday as I cant make the meeting in my locality so why dont we do it together!!
(The online thing is at a reduced rate of £39.95 I think)
My problem is complete and utter lack of motivation to exercise - resulting in me being completely unfit which, given that I have just hit 40, is a problem.
Also I plan to stop smoking next week and am concerned about gaining even more weight.
Right thats my little blurb over - best of luck to you
RMC
oooo definitely! I did lose weight (once upon a time) when I did WW and had a buddy type person. My best friend has just discovered she is pregnant:T so she can't step in to the breach! I need someone or a whole army of someones to kick my butt.
just eaten lots of fudge. not very diety is it?
