    Well done Pamela H!

I lost 1 pound tonight, that's a total of 10. I'm pleased with that actually asthis week I started to slip back into my old habits of snacking and late night eating while on the internet - oops - better log off in a mo!

  • hi everyone,

I am starting Weight watchers, for what must be the sixth time (!) on Monday.

I used to go to meetings but to be honest I always feel like its some horrible PE lesson type nightmare! so don't want to go. I have some of the books and cook books.

its a bit late now and I should Really go to bed.

But I shall weigh in on Thursdays, ( always best I found, bit of leeway re the weekend!) and would appreciate the support from other people on the plan.

I reckon I have about three stone to lose. but will do my first weigh on Sunday, and go from there.

    thanks

    xxx
    Nevertheless she persisted.

Managed to lose 6 lb during the two weeks that I didn't go, mainly because I couldn't eat! Now I've gone and developed bell's palsy which makes everything taste weird anyway, so my theory is I may as well not eat chocolate as it doesn't taste right anyway! 3.5 lb to go till I get to my 10%, can I do it by my 40th birthday party in 2 weeks and a day?

I am doing WW online from yesterday as I cant make the meeting in my locality so why dont we do it together!!
(The online thing is at a reduced rate of £39.95 I think)
My problem is complete and utter lack of motivation to exercise - resulting in me being completely unfit which, given that I have just hit 40, is a problem.
Also I plan to stop smoking next week and am concerned about gaining even more weight.
Right thats my little blurb over - best of luck to you

Should have also added that I currently weigh 12st 11lb (5'7") and would like to lose at least 21lbs - however my real aim is to be comfortable size 12 (currently squeezing into 14 uncomfortably)

Ive been doing it since jan and am 24.5lbs down ! have had 2 bumpy weeks on anitbiotics holiday to cornwall so slowed a bit ...

I think they say that once youve got over the 10lbs loss mark you start to notice in the clothes and other people will start noticing! .. It took me 20lbs until i went down a clothes size and im still an 18 in some places ....
Im having a good week this week :) xx
Hoping to be a thinner me in 2010!

Welcome and good luck. I joined three weeks ago and have lost 9lb. I stick to my points religiously and write everything down that I eat/drink. The best thing is that it has completely changed the way I eat, I buy fresh ingredients and make WW recipes all week and the best thing is you don't have to give up the wine!
