Well I am sitting drinking an options orange hot chocolate to try and stop me eating chocolate and so far it is working, it quite tasty for 1/2 a point.
I was a little naughty yesterday night when I got in as a had bought a meringue from M and S, well I bought two and then ended up eating two, and then having a scoop of Ben and Jerry's frozen yogurt so I went over my points but not by much.
How is everyone else getting on?God is good, all the time

Ooh didn't know there was a WW thread so hope you don't mind me joining in?!
I had a baby 11 weeks ago (11 weeks this saturday) and joined WW 2 weeks ago.
In the first week I lost 8lb and this week (2nd week) I lost 2.5 lbs!
We're going on a family holiday next year (51 weeks to go lol!), I'm getting married, then going on honeymoon for a week (child free woohoo!) so I really really want to lose the weight.
Can honestly say that I'm not bored with the foods I'm eating and I don't eat my points every day but save them for one day a week where I can treat myself, which is a Tuesday after my weigh in lol

Hi all,
I am going to get a monthly pass and I know this has been discussed on here before.
People have said when the best time to purchase one is? What's the deal?

I just went along and signed up on the night I wanted to start. it works out as just less than £18 a month and I got a free Delicious cookbook too. The fee is cheaper than if you pay each week and I think it is essential to get yourself online and use the points tracker on there, it is really handy for finding out points in branded food, putting in your favourite recipes for it to work out points, finding new recipes... You are also prompted to put in your weight each week and it tracks that too.God is good, all the time

i find it so much easier and also if i feel i have had a bad week and think i wont go because ive paid i make sure i go and then i get a surprise at loseing instead of thinking i had gained..
i lost 2.5 lbs this week thats 11.5lbs in total
Soup..
i also do the butternut and pepper soup..ive done the roasted and also cooked them in the stock and then blitzed them.. both lovely.. ive also added curry powder to add a bit of flavour as well , also put some fromage fra on top all to make it look better as well as taste a wee bit different..

Well hasn't this thread been busy whilst I've been in a meeting WITH and buffet which I COMPLETELY AVOIDED!!!! :j I had my bacon, mushroom and tomato pasta instead. I did however steal an apple and 2 bananas for the rest of the week.
I have a monthly pass - I love it cos I've paid so I have to go (wouldn't be money saving if I didn't :money:) and its cheaper per week this way too :money: and I got the free cookbook :money:. I'm not sure what the freebie is at the moment though, hang on...hmm it doesn't say there's a freebie. I think that someone once said on this thread that you should sign up at a meeting then you have a week to register your card so if you leave it as late as poss you effectively get a free week. Or something like that. I think it then comes out of your bank a couple of weeks before your new card is due so be ready!
Welcome to our thread shellsuit, its great motivation on here and I must say this week there have been some fab losses!Really should be doing some work...0 -
Hi everyone, my dd and oh have joined ww using the nhs referal scheme, I'm doing the diet with them, and to be honest with you so far it really doesnt feel like we're on diets
so far we've had, from the fast start booklet,in no particular order:-
Breakfasts- healthy cooked breakfast, creamy mushrooms on toast, poached egg on toast, plain yogurt with fruit salad, dd had weetabix one of the days.
Lunch-ham and mixed bean salad (this is delicious) tuna sandwich, ham and pasta salad (I weighed the ham and pasta according to the lunch your way list and used the lemon juice/mustard/olive oil dressing, which is lovely) today we just had beans on toast
Dinners-pork casserole with parsley mash, spagetti bolognese, jacket spud with cheese and beans, chicken breast with new potatos and free veg.
Tonight we're just having pasta with salad and either ham or tuna. I've just made the summer cottage pie ready for tomorrow nights dinner, from this months ww magazine,we'll have this with free veg, it looks delish.
For suppers we've been having free soup, or pointless soup as dd calls it :rotfl:or decaff coffee made from milk allowance.
Honestly none of us have felt hungry, dd and oh have more points than me and have been using these having ww yogurts, fruit and I think dd had a bag of walkers fries one night, but thats been it, so far so goodthere getting weighed tomorrow so I'll find out if I've been feeding them properly :rotfl:hope I have.
My ds who's type 1 diabetic and does like his grub, has been eating the same as us, although he doesnt need to loose any weight, hes been fine with it sofar, I do give him extra portions of pasta, potatoes and bread, but he asked us when we were starting the diet the other day, and was amazed when I said we had already started.
I admit though, being off work this week has been a help, as I've had more time to prepare stuff, hopefully this week will give us a kick start and I can be as well organised next week when I go back.

Forgot to say, soup recipes, I used the chunky Italian soup for one of them, and for the other, I just boiled carrots, onion, celery and turnip with a stock cube, then blended once it was cooled, it was nice. Today, I've made the Italian one again, but added leek, peppers and courgette to make it go further.
